Former girl idol group member Shoo (born Yoo Soo Yeong) of S.E.S and her Korean Basketball League playing husband Im Hyo Sung took some sexy couple pics before the birth of their first child.  The couple who are both 29 got married this past April 11th when Shoo was already 5 months pregnant.  It was reported that the concept of the pictures was a sexy couple shoot a la Posh and Becks.  Check out the pics here.

Aww, I think they look great! It’s a jock meets his lady feel and is sexy, yet still tasteful. Shoo looks radiant in all her pregnant grandeur. Best of luck to the happy couple, especially Shoo. Because in an interview back on their wedding day, her husband stated that he’d like to have five kids with Shoo, his own little basketball team. Wow, if they can handle five kids- good for them.

On the 21st of June, Super Junior member Yesung had his Cyworld's title updated with a sentence that made everybody curious. His title:

SuJu in the middle of preparing for a fresh transformation ^^

After his update, many fans rushed to comment on his title. Some are excited, saying 'they always give us surprises. what will it be this time? i am so excited on what the transformation will be.' while some others said 'AAAAAHH. You're such a teaser Yesung!!'.

The 'transformation' is rumoured to take place for their repackaged album. Super Junior are in the midst of preparing their repackaged album and their fans are anticipating it. Lets hope they really give us a surprise when they release their repackaged album!

[news] D-Na sells out 7,000 copies of their mini album "Awake"

D-Na first mini album "Awake" recently released their album last 17th and their album gets sold out after selling over 7,000 copies and their agency are immediately re producing their album for more copies.

On the 21st, their agency said, "Their first mini album 'Awake' get's sold out on it's first delivery for over 7000 copies, despite being rookie's their album gets sold out. Thanks to the hot reaction of fans, there is additional production distribution as fans asks for 5,000 more pre orders".

Despite being rookie's D-Na did very well on their album sales on their first mini album.

Meanwhile, they just had their comeback stage with their song "Stumble, Stumble" on music shows.

Girl Group T-ara's agency Core content will be debuting a new girl group this coming September, fall in Korea.

Core content said on the 21st, "We are preparing a new attraction for a new group, but the number of members and their time of debut are not yet specifically determined".

"Currently, most likely the group will be a nine member girl group, they will be highly talented in singing and dancing, they will debut as soon as September"

Firstly revealed member is Jin Hye Won, as seen in the photo cheering for South Korea in the world cup.

She was seen in the building of Core Content last 17th while watching the game of South Korea vs. Argentina, she was seen with T-ara and Davichi causing a lot of talk among netizens as for her identity.

Although she is just 15 years old, Jin Hye Won is 168 cm tall and is good at dancing at her young age.

Lee Min Ho celebrates with fans

Lee Min Ho celebrated his 24th birthday (Korean, born on 6/22/1987) with fans and friends on the 20th at Kyunghee University’s Peace Center.  The fan meet called “2010, The Special Day with Minoz” was also a celebration for Lee Min Ho’s fan club’s 2nd anniversary.  Other than the 4,000 fans, a bunch of Min Ho’s celebrity friends joined the party.

Stars there to support Lee Min Ho were: Wang Biho himself, comedian Yoon Hyung Bin who served as MC; Min Ho’s best friend, actor Jung Il Woo; fellow flower boy, Kim Bum; special guest Taiwanese actor Joe Cheng of It Started With A Kiss fame who presented him with a gift of Oolong Tea; and his co-stars from his latest drama Personal Taste, Jung Sung Hwa and Im Seulong (of 2AM) who shared some Min Ho secrets with everyone.  There were also performances by SeeYa, Younha who sang her song from the Personal Taste OST, and 2AM (minus Changmin who couldn’t attend due to prior engagements).  Check out some of the pics from the event here (click on the thumbnails to enlarge).




Highlights of the fan meet included: seeing Minho open some of his presents from fans; him singing the hit song “Falling Slowly” which he practiced for the event; a fan performing a song for Min Ho; his birthday cake presentation; and a hilarious gag with an ahjumma fan where he spoke to her husband. The event lasted over two hours and was said to be enjoyed by all.   I do find it weird that a lot of these fan meets for celebrities’ birthdays occur before their actual birthdays.  Where I come from, you never celebrate someone’s birthday before the actual day because it is thought to be bad luck to do so.  If you aren’t able to celebrate on the day itself, we would always celebrate after the day- it just goes to show how we all have our little cultural differences.

Hmmm, I wonder if the special appearance of Joe Cheng is a foreshadowing of things to come for Lee Min Ho…

Infinite member SeongJong has attracted a lot of attention for his pretty face.

Last June 9, Infinite debuted with their first mini album "First Invasion" and since then they have had a successful debut song "Come back again" and they have been active on programs, shows, radio shows and music shows.

On a recent pictorial, SeongJong was seen with a smaller body and skinny legs and netizens speculation that he is a girl.

In the photo, he appears rather feminine, with skinny arms and the neckline, also with his eyes and facial features bringing up a "gender controversy".

SeongJong is born in 1993, making him 17 years old (18 in korea) and it has been a trend these days for guys to have lean muscular body's and SeongJong is the exact opposite of this showing a rather skinny physique.

SS501 shed tears in Tvn's Newton X-Concert has they spend time with their fans.

SS501 tvN music show which was broadcast on the 21st "Newton's X-Concert" where SS501 held a surprise meeting with fans with over 501 lucky fans in attendance.

Before the concert, a video was played on the screen where it showed SS501 member's giving their messages inviting fans to come to their show. Before SS501 appeared the fans already applauded for the members and were cheering for them.

SS501 performed songs like "Everything" where fans responded well, and while they were singing the member's could not help but shed tears during their performance.

SS501 said, "We had a tough job being an idol group, even so, we are grateful to the fans for sending us a lot of love, due to our oversea's activities we were not able to spend much time in our country and we always feel sorry to our fans".

Despite being in tears, the fans still continued to cheer them on.

The concert lasted for about 2 hours, and the members said, "The fans gave us a lot of love and warms our heart, This will be an unforgettable moment in our life", expressing their gratitude to their fans.

SNSD's Seohyun caught the attention of the netizens by participating in the OST of MBC's drama, 'Kim Sooro'. 

The song Seohyun sang, 'It's Okay Even If It Hurts'(roughly translated), was revealed for the first time as the ending song of episode 6, which aired on the 19th. The song is the theme song for the character Kim Sooro, who is hurt due to love, but is determined not to let the love go.

Director Lee Pilho, who is in charge of the OST, stated, "'It's Okay Even If It Hurts' is a song that shows the emotions of Seohyun well, and will be used as the title song of 'Kim Sooro'." [News] SS501 and CNBLUE shine on TV music programs

K-pop idols SS501 and CNBLUE celebrated wins on televised music programs over the weekend. 

SS501 scored their second win for "Love Ya" on KBS' weekend program "Music Bank" although the boys did not perform on the show.

Meanwhile, CNBLUE grabbed their first win on SBS' Sunday music show "Inkigayo" with their single "Love," beating out three-week winner Super Junior. 

Other contenders on both shows included December, 4minute, Super Junior, MBLAQ and f(x). 

SS501 made their debut with the single "Warning" in 2005, releasing numerous albums as a group and pursuing individual careers in acting and appearing in variety shows. 

They have been enjoying their return to the music scene with their latest album "DESTINATION," which was released on May 24. 

CNBLUE released two singles in Japan before breaking into the local music scene with their mini-album titled "Bluetory." Recently, they have been promoting their second mini-album "BLUE LOVE" featuring the title track "LOVE." 

The group will hold their first concert in Korea on July 31 titled "Listen to the CNBLUE."

Kim Haneul shows off legs for Harper’s Bazaar

Actress Kim Haneul shows off her long, long legs in the July issue of Harper's Bazaar Korea. The theme of the photoshoot is Time to Love.

 Very long: 'Ooh, my fringe is blocking my view :P.'

The 32 year old is set to appear in the MBC drama Road Number One, a war drama about love found and lost. In the drama, the actress portrays Soo Yeon, a woman who is in a love triangle between two soldiers, namely Jang Woo (So Ji-seob) and Tae Ho (Yoon Kye-sang). The drama will air in South Korea on June 23.

Harper's Bazaar Korea will hit newsstands (in South Korea only) on June 21.

[Pictures] 10 posters for Death Bell 2

Looks like Death Bell is another high school horror franchise in the making. Since the original movie (also called Bloody Midterms or Go-sa) did so well two summers ago (starring Nam Gyu-ri, Lee Beom-soo, Kim Bum), producers are back with a sequel this summer, Death Bell 2: Bloody Camp.
This movie has again teamed up a couple of established older actors with a group of rising stars to portray the teachers and students at a high school beset by horrific circumstances. Kim Su-ro also played a teacher in his last drama, God of Study, and is joined by High Kick Through the Roof's Hwang Jung-eum. Leading the younger set are Baker King's Yoon Shi-yoon and God of Study's Park Ji-yeon (or just Ji-yeon, as she's known per her T-ara pop-singer persona).
The story takes place during summer vacation as some students are taking special classes. When a death arises in the dormitory, a life and death struggle ensues. Ji-yeon explains that she modeled her acting after Moon Geun-young's in the stylish and suspenseful thriller Tale of Two Sisters.
The other cast members include Park Eun-bin of Queen Seon-deok and Iron Empress, Ji Chang-wookof Sons of Sol Pharmacy, as well as Yoon Seung-ah, Sohn Ho-joon, Choi Ah-jin, Nam Bo-ra, Yeo Min-joo, and Kwon Hyung-san.
Death Bell 2 has already been sold abroad (Taiwan, Hong Kong), at the film market during the most recent Cannes Film Festival. It will release in theaters in Korea at the end of July.

[News] Lee Min Ho holds birthday fanmeeting

Lee Min-ho turns 23 on June 22, and to celebrate the event, the rising star held a fanmeeting on the 20th. The event was also in conjunction with the second anniversary of his fan club "Minoz"; titled A Special Day With Min-ho, the gathering was open to 4,500 of his fans.
The fanmeeting was attended by a contingent of overseas fans who flew in from Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, and China. A number of Lee Min-ho's star friends and co-stars also appeared, such as Jung Il-woo, Kim Bum, and Younha, and the day was hosted by comedian Yoon Hyung-bin.

The stuffed animal from his last drama Personal Taste didn't take off like the pig-rabbit or the Samsoon pig dolls, but it was a cute part of the drama (Sohn Ye-jin often used him as a punching bag for airing out her grievances with his character).
Asked what his most-wanted birthday present was, he answered, "a girlfriend." He added, "I'd like a person I can travel with on quiet trips." (Talk about a fanservicey answer, huh? Then again, considering he's in the presence of nearly five thousand rabid fangirls, it's also probably the wisest answer.)
He sang two songs for his fans, who asked if he has any desire to make a singing debut. he answered, "I have the desire, but not the skill." (As you may recall, he recorded a song for the Boys Before Flowers "F4 Special" called "My Everything." 
Lee Min-ho has now had two leading roles in drama series, Boys Before Flowers in 2009 and Personal Taste this year. The former was a pan-Asian hit; the latter was less successful, but when's all said and done I'd contend that Lee still benefited from the role, and he drew a lot of praise for it. You could also reasonably argue that the drama would have been a (bigger) flop without him. (Sohn Ye-jin was wonderful in it, but her career didn't hinge on the drama the way his did.) He expressed his wish to act in a movie as well, saying, "If the role is grounded in logic and shows an appealing character, I'm ready to do it anytime."

Lee Min-ho's close friend Jung Il-woo and previous co-star Kim Bum were special guests, as were hisPersonal Taste co-stars Jung Sung-hwa (who played Sang-jun) and 2AM's Im Seul-ong. In addition, singer Younha sang her song from the Personal Taste OST.

[News] Lee Byung Hun’s legal troubles at an end

After more than six months, Lee Byung-heon's legal woes have been resolved cleanly after the suit filed against him by ex-girlfriend Ms. Kwon has been withdrawn. The court closed the matter after judging that Kwon no longer intends to pursue the suit after she missed two hearings and failed to request a new pleading date; she returned to Canada at the end of last year and has made no effort to continue her case.
Not only does this free Lee from legal entanglements, the records of the case are essentially purged and will not be retained, making this lawsuit — at least in the eyes of the law — disappear as though it never happened.
A brief refresher: On December 8, 2009, Kwon filed a civil suit against the star, accusing him of luring her into a sexual relationship with false promises of marriage. She demanded 100 million won in compensation, and later also accused Lee of illegal gambling while filming overseas. She released photographs of the two together to prove that she was telling the truth about being in a relationship with Lee. He was also the target of blackmail by men connected with Kwon who threatened to make a stink if he didn't pay up. He refused, and countersued for defamation. In the spring, he was cleared by the court of gambling charges.
Good news for Lee! Now he can focus on work; his upcoming thriller I Saw the Devil (from The Good, The Bad, The Weird director Kim Ji-woon) will be released later this summer.

[News] Rain is getting all the love in Narita Airport

Rain is getting all the love in Japan as he arrived in Narita Airport on the 20th of June. He is currently in Japan as his Zepp Tour kicks off on the 22nd. Despite being his second his visit this year, a number of 500 fans had greeted him and showed their support.

Korea's actor and singer Rain visited Japan on the 20th in order to go on his concert tour 'ZEPP Love Concert Tour'across the country from the 22nd. That's his second visit this year.

He arrived at Narita Airport about 10:25 am and waved his hand for his more than enthusiastic 500 fans who had been there 3 hours when before he arrived.

Rain was the first Korean to receive Biggest Badass Star at 2010 MTV Movie Awards held in LA, USA, last 6th, and The tickets of this concert which will be held at 9 venues in 6 cities have been sold out in a day.

Rain who'll hold 2 shows in Saitama Super Arena on July 17th and 18th after his ZEPP tour, whose popularity continues to rise. He'll hold a press conference on the 21st.

Core Contents Media to unleash another girl group

It appears that despite having groups like Davichi, SeeYa and T-ara already under its label, Core Contents Media are going to add another girl group to their ranks this fall.

During the recent Korea Republic game against Argentina in South Africa, Core Contents Media artists like T-ara, Davichi, Black Pearl, etc together with Kim Soo Ro had gathered to watch the game together.

But the sight of a fresh-faced girl in photos have attracted the attention of netizens, who have labeled her as a Goo Hara (KARA) lookalike.

In response, Core Contents Media expressed, “Her name is called Jin Hye Won. She’s 15 years old and 1.68m tall. She has been taking dance lessons since she was 7 and is currently a trainee. It’s true that we are preparing a new girl group but the specific debut date or the number of members have not been decided yet.”

Korean boy-band F.cuz, after debuting for 6 months, has arrived at Taiwan, preparing to take over the Taiwanese fanbase. 
Leader Jinon, who looks extremely like Kwon Sang Woo, have acted as Kwon Sang Woo's back-view in the drama "Cinderella Man". 
"I often get autograph requests as Kwon Sang Woo on the street!" Jinon said.

Kwon Sang Woo acted as two characters in "Cinderella Man", and everytime both characters appear on screen at the same time, Jinon will appear as well. Due to CAN&J Entertainment forbidding F.cuz from being in relationships, Jinon has envied Kwon Sang Woo's happy marriage with actress Son Tae Young. Jinon expressed: "She will sometimes bring sandwiches to the filming site, and seeing her acting so cuddly with her husband is just too sweet."

[News] Mnet’s official stand, “We will take full responsibility of the plagiarism case even though our contract with Lee Hyori has ended”

Lee Hyori's agency Mnet Media reveals that even though their contract with Lee Hyori has ended, they will take full responsibility to the singer's recent album plagiarism case.
Mnet released their official stand on the plagiarism case regarding composer Bahnus off Lee Hyori's recent 4th album 'H-Logic' on the 21st. Mnet said, "The composer in question Bahnus has told us that the 7 songs off the album are his songs, and they were leaked out due to a guide recording 4~5 years ago. We were also told that he has been given the signed documents from the foreign singers who have claimed that the songs are plagiarised."
Mnet also added, "But in order to confirm what we were told, we tried to personally looked up 6 of the officials of the foreign singers affect. We managed to contact 3 of them and they had replied that they think they have not given any rights of the song to Bahnus, and we also promised them we will take the moral responsibility regarding the case."
Currently, Mnet is in negotiations with 2 of the parties through their lawyers regarding the rights to the songs. Mnet, "As compared to anything, our priority is our artiste Lee Hyori's name which is in question due to this case."
Mnet ended off with, "We are really sorry towards the fans who have continued to show support for Lee Hyori. We will work to reveal and disclose all the information we have gathered regarding the case. Even though our contract with Lee Hyori has ended, we will take full responsibility until the case is closed fully."

[News] Invincible Youth new member Kim Sori releases hiphop concept teaser photo for comeback

On KBS 2TV Invincible Youth aired on 18th June, new member Sori was introduced as one of the 3 new members on the show. And recently on Kim Sori (Sori) official fan cafe (cafe.daum.net/SO-RI) a teaser jacket photo was revealed.
In the photo, Sori shed her usual sexy image for a hiphop girl concept. Sori's agency JSprime Entertainment revealed, "Kim Sori not only shed her usual image, she will also be meeting fans with new sound and music. We hope that everyone will look forward to it."
Meanwhile, Sori will release the teaser video for her comeback on 25th June.

Sakurai Sho (28) had appeared in Pino CM, May 2010  for promoting the delicious Japan’s chocolate. This mouth-sized Pino chocolate has three diffrent taste; Original, Strawberry and Dessert.

Sakurai Sho who is one of Arashi member had been appeared in many other commercial together with Arashi, such as, Coca-Cola, Mc Donald, AU(mobile phone) and Ozack. Ninomiya Kazunari (Arashi;27) who had this new hobby of playing games got the chance to be in Super Mario Galaxy 2 CM.

His(Sakurai Sho) other solo appearance in CM other than Pino is, Mitsuya Cider, Toyota and a university(Johnan) CM since he has the image of young and brilliant idol who is the only Johnny’s idol graduated.

In the Pino Cm, they present to the audience of how the delicious chocolate being made. For Sakurai Sho, it is a new experience for him to know how to make good and high quality chocolate. I think this is his 2nd experience of being in a chef costume after Tokujo Kabachi.

UW : Since January Interview with the reporters, how would you describe the changes and improvements in the group?

DJ : During this period, we came out with a new album SHOCK OF THE NEW ERA, and won first on M Countdown, (workwise) progressive improving.

 UW : Whats the feeling for winning the Best Newcomer Award for 19th Seoul Music Award during the start of this year? How did you overcome the stress of being an idol? How did you relieve stress normally?

JH : Winning an award would not have any stress, however after getting an award, everybody would raise their expectation on us, hence feeling the heavy burden on our shoulder. Everytime standing on a stage, and everytime with fans, we will give our best to perform, and enjoy the love that our fans gave us, this will be the best way to relieve our stress.

KK : Watching Movie, I will be able to to release the inner stress in me and forgot all the worries (laugh)
HS : Mine is to play video game.  

UW : Since debut, which performance is the one that you guys felt the most nervous? Why?

DJ : Nothing as compared to last year October, As we stand on stage for the 1st time for our debut. There is nothing to nervous as compared to then which is more nervous.

KK : Ah... I think the recent performance of Dream Concert, aside from JunHyung, as we go on the stage, from the stage we jump down, that is the time I felt super nervous.

HS : I think everytime I will be super nervous everytime I get an award. Although, I always tell myself to relax, however everytime getting an award, I still feel super nervous.

UW : Do you guys want to be IDOL/SINGER since young? If there is to choose again, will you still choose to become an IDOL?

DW : Being an IDOL is our dream, we have always been improving ourselves towards this dream. We have been working hard to walk towards this dream, thankfully we are able to acheive this dream.

YS : If I have to choose again, to be able to do other things that I have yet to try, should be interesting.

JH : Actor? (Laugh)

HS : Entrepreneur? (Laugh)

UW : Whats the greatest pressure and encouragment after gaining fame?

JH : The biggest encouragment is getting fans` love and support. Although this seem to be a old set of answer, however, we do think of it this way. Well, due to everybody support, they will await more from us, we also wish to strive to work harder and to fufill their await in us.

UW : We knew that CUBE ENTERTAINMENT has arranged you guys to a bigger dorm due to the good sales of the 1st and 2nd album. How do you see for the passion of the fans?

DJ : I feel kinda surprise. Although we have already set a target for ourselve. But after reaching it, its still a shocking feeling. Because setting such a goal, we also fork out the same amount of hardwork to acheive our success. No matter what, we are happy for our assurance to our hardwork, in my heart, I`m appreciative. The road to the future is still long, we will work hard for our future.

UW : Whats the feeling after changing a new dorm? What do you think of the new dorm?

DJ : The feeling is good, the living room is spacious.

YS : The room is brighter, so is my feeling getting lighter.

JH : As the space is big, we can stay like 1 family, gathering together to eat, interact and commicate also became better.

UW : Aside changing dorm, what awards do you wished to get from your company?

DJ : What type of compensation ah....

HS : Although we have been granted holidays, but who would say their holidays are a lot? Please give a few more days.

KK : Not only do we wish, I support all artiste also wished, which is to rest.

JH : If we need to bargain, let us have more right in talking. (Laugh)

UW : Since January, the interview with <>, is there a change in lifestyle for DooJoon (comparing cleanliness)? Is kikwang still the same loving to laze on bed?

YS : DooJoon habbits is still the same as last time.

KK : I initially wanted to keep a habbit of sleeping and waking up early, however I have recently been addicted to reading comic.... so its still the same as the past, sleeping at a very late time.

UW : Confess yourself on the group contribution ..? You yourselve has which good or bad points?
HS : A very sorry to the members, I have always been lazing on the bed not able to wake up.

JH : Thanks to HyunSeung, all the other members are easily awake.

UW : In the group, you admire which member? Why?

HS : DooJoon. Because his the leader. He has a very good leadership skills and is our representative to speak.

DJ : Not only representative okay. (Laugh)

UW : Who in the group has the most popularity?

Everybody : Yoseob

JH : Every members including the fans has got different taste. (Laughs)

WISHES TO LEARN NEW LANGUAGE
UW : 4Minute has already started their promotion in japan, do you guys wish to enter the japan market too?

YS : Since debut trainings, we already knew 4MINUTES, they having today results , we too feel happy for them. BEAST of cause wishes to enter the JAPAN market too, we are in admist of preparation, preparing ourselve to give our best image to the fans in japan.

UW : According to the media, Dong Woon is currently learning chinese. Why do you specially want to study chinese?

DW : Im currently learning however, im not sure if i can learn it well. If everybody awaits my chinese language, I will try my utmost, hopefully I could shock everybody. Since young, people around me spoke chinese, so from then, I started learning chinese.

UW : Do the other members wish to learn new languages? Why?

DJ : I want to learn English, because participating in MBC Sunday Night Dambi will require us to travel oversea to film and I realize the importance of English to communicate with others.

JH : I also want to learn English. Because Rap requires lots of English.

YS : I want to learn Japan. As I have before, I want to continue learning to strengthen my japan language, so when we promote in Japan, I could shine handsomely. (Laugh)

HS : I has got a same feeling. (Laugh)

UW : Last month, you guys have been to Kyung Book with a group of fans to spent your 2D1N? Can you share the experience with us as regards to the experience you guys spent with the fans for the very first time?

DJ : It is the first time we have prepared this activity. Theres about 60 fans attending. If there is still more fans participating, it would be good. About 10 members in 1 team, we individually lead them as the leader, we played games, dined together, talk together, and talking about what we are good at, and even prepared a small music showcase, the feeling is even better than school fieldtrip as its more interesting.

DW : Its an opportunity not to get disturb, and only spending happy times with fans, the feeling is good.

YS : Able to express ourselve freely, its diferent from seeing us in the television and performance, allowing the fans to see our charm and character in the private. (Laugh)

KK : At the start, Im worried, I would`nt know how to spend with the fans. After spending some time with each other, surpringly, we are chatting as though like some very good friends, the time spent together was enjoyable and pleasant. Everybody because of BEAST has spent their time together, make me moved.

TVXQ's U-Know Yunho showed off his chic and classic charm in a photoshoot in global fashion magazine 'Marie Claire'.

U-Know Yunho visited Hong Kong in mid-May in order to partake in the photshoot. It was carried out as an unofficial activity due to safety reasons, but countless numbers of fans showed up wherever he went. It is said that this was the reason why he and the team had to be out at 3 o'clock in the morning to complete their work.

The photos that were taken were released in the July issue of Marie Claire Korea on the 19th. But because of his popularity in Asia, the photos will also be released in the August issue of Marie Claire in Hong Kong, Thailand and other Asian countries. The decision to have U-Know Yunho be the cover model of Thailand's August issue is also drawing great attention.

In the photoshoot, U-Know Yunho can be seen showing off his chic and classic charm in clean-cut suits. Clothes such as a black suit that reveals the inner part of his collar bone and a two tone, black and gray suit all fit him very well.

f(x)’s Krystal to join More Charming By The Day sitcom

It was revealed that f(x) member, Krystal will be joining the cast of MBC sitcom, More Charming by the Day.

One of the show’s director, Sa Hwa Kyung revealed on the 21st that Krystal will be playing the niece of Kim Sung Soo in the sitcom and show her utmost charms.

Super Junior Lee Donghae was ridiculed/ humiliated by an 8 year old girl.

Donghae appeared in the broadcast of Star Golden Bell on the 19th and showed off his glib of the tongue. Today, just for the quiz, an 8 year old French girl appeared, and started off with a fluent French introduction, shocking everyone present.

Leah used her bright clear voice to shout "DANG" and it caused everyone to laugh. When asked who does she fancy the most in Super Junior, she picked Ryeowook. As the members that were present on Star Golden Bell that day were Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, Shindong and Donghae, everyone were humiliated (feel hurt).

4minute’s Jiyoon will not be making a solo debut

Earlier this month we reported than 4minute’s Jiyoon would be making her solo debut in July or August. However, it was been revealed that there was possibly a misunderstanding, and that she is not making a solo debut.

In a recent interview with TV Daily at the MBC Dream Center, Jiyoon said that it was her first time hearing that she was going to release a solo album.

On June 6th, media reported that Jiyoon would be releasing her solo song after 4minute’s activities for Huh were over, in August/September.

When asked, Jiyoon replied, “I too was surprised when I saw that article. So much so that I even asked the company if I was going to make my solo debut. However, even the company representatives were like, ‘Where did you hear that?‘”

When asked if there were any plans for solo albums, acting or other activities, Gayoon responded, “All we’re thinking about right now is 4minute’s album“.  

Maknae Sohyun continued, “We want to get our name known to the public, not as individuals, but as a team.”

Mnet Media to file lawsuit against Bahnus Vacuum for Lee Hyori

There’s no doubt in the fact that Lee Hyori’s title of a singer has been severely defamed, after admitting the fact that the plagiarism accusations surrounding many of her tracks in album H-Logic are true indeed.

By posting a self-written entry on her website explaining the situation, Lee Hyori has made her personal apologies to the victims of plagiarism, and announced to quit all her activities as a singer for now. Although it seems like a right thing to do, especially after bringing much harm and damage to others, fans and netizens were disappointed nonetheless to hear such news.

However, there is a something we should all understand before starting to point fingers – Lee Hyori, nor any artists signed under Mnet Media is responsible for writing the plagiarized tracks, but a mysterious songwriter well-known as Bahnus Vacuum.

After further investigations, its been revealed that Bahnus Vacuum is actually a group of songwriters consisted of seven domestic & overseas songwriters and composers. The team centers around its leader Lee Jae Young aka Bahnus, who’s received his music degrees at Cologne University of Music in Germany and Guildhall School of Music and Drama in England. Bahnus Vacuum was first introduced to Mnet Media through the company’s employee’s close relations with one of the members of the team.

Now we know more about Bahnus Vacuum, it’s time to hear more about their unfortunate fate. Intentional or not, the group has blatantly stole others’ intellectual property as if they were their own. Not only that, Bahnus Vacuum even made up lies saying how it was those others who stole off of him, with a false story explaining how the tracks were “leaked” while they were in development. Because the group has committed plagiarism and fraud, Mnet Media has announced that they will be filing a lawsuit against Bahnus Vacuum, and will be compensating for the damages to each and every victim of this issue. The company’s in the process of seeking these original songwriters all over the world, including England, Canada, and even Norway.

The fact that Mnet Media is being responsible for Lee Hyori’s issue is very noteworthy, since the company no longer holds Lee Hyori as one of their signed artists. The company explains how it’s morally correct to protect Lee Hyori, since Mnet was held in charge for the production of the album.

There really seems to be no bright side in this issue – the damage is permanent, and the reputation of K-pop has been downgraded even further by foreign audience. Do you think there is really no end to this?

Song Joong Ki to join Yoo Jae Suk’s new variety show

It was revealed on the 21st that actor Song Joong Ki will be joining Yoo Jae Suk’s new Good Sunday variety show.

Song Joong Ki joins a strong fixed cast consisting of Kim Jong Kook, Haha and LeeSsang’s Gil.

The show’s PD revealed that Song Joong Ki has a clean, fresh image and will inject some vitality into the variety show. Filming was completed on June 18th and the new show will debut sometime in July under SBS’s Good Sunday.
