Rain and Jeon Ji-hyun dating

Have you heard the rumour that Korean world star Rain (Jeong Ji-hun) and actress Gianna Jeon Ji-hyun are an item? Both Rain and Gianna are well known Korean actors and have been in Hollywood movie productions. Rain appeared in Ninja Assassin (2009) while Gianna was in Blood: The Last Vampire (2009).

According to the Korean press, Rain and Gianna Jeon started dating in October last year. They usually meet at home, late at night to keep things nice and quiet. Recently, there were reports that Rain drove up to Gianna's condo (which is 3-minutes away from his home) to meet up with her right before leaving for the MTV movie awards in early June. These paparazzi photos emerged in Korean sites as evidence. However, i don't see any conclusive evidence, as there are no photographs showing both Rain and Gianna together. He might be visiting his aunt in that apartment block for all we know!


There's also that thing about a Cartier couple's ring that Rain and Gianna have been sporting on their ring finger recently.


So are they REALLY dating? We don't really know do we? What do you think???

Brian, an active solo singer will be having his first Fan Meeting in Tokyo, Japan this upcoming July!

He has announced on his twitter account on the 12th the information on his upcoming fan meeting in Japan.

Brian posted on his twitter on the 12th, "*New Event Update* Brian's 1st Fanmeeting in Japan at the Duo Music Exchange (Tokyo) on July 24, 2010 at 2p.m. & 6p.m. Hope to see you all~".

This will be the first time he will be meeting his fans in Japan as a solo artist. About 400 seats are prepared and expected to be filled.

Meanwhile, Brian will be in Malaysia this coming 10th of July for a fan meeting and a showcase.

In celebration for the 2010 World Cup, the "Star Concert" was organized to take place on the 12th of June that will be holding 16 performances from various top idols including Super Junior, CNBlue, 4minute, SHINee, Ivy, 2am and BEAST but it has been announced that the concert has been cancelled.

An official of the organizers said on the 12th, "The Star Concert which was supposed to be held in Jeonju has been cancelled due to safety concerns".

The official continued, "We have posted a notice on 11 am KST also notifying those who purchased tickets for the concert".

After last year's album , and a 1 year and 2 months wait, ELFs have finally anticipated for Super Junior (SJ)'s 4th album (Miinah). After the new album was out for 2 weeks, album sales have already broken the 100,000 record and 200,000 pre-orders, for singers, this is an impressive number. Introducing the genre [Super Junior Funky] for SJ, the single [BONAMANA], after being out for a week already snagged 1st in Music program rankings, the special "skating" choreography has already caused quite the craze, and certainly does not lose to [SORRY,SORRY]! Apart from the addictive kyrics that have brainwashed the fans, the members have also spent a lot of time to suit the theme of "Miinah". The biggest sell point, definitely is the members on the dancefloor, to emit their "flower boy" temperament.
[Waking up in the middle of the night to work out]
From the bottom half of 2009 to the beginning of 2010, SJ was so busy with their second concert tour, that the time they were on the plane was more than the time spent on land. At the same time, members also appeared in dramas and variety shows, they were so busy they nearly couldn't sleep. But for this new album, SJ members that they had prepared unlimited surprises. At this time, apart from practicing their new song, they also secretly followed Siwon who has the best body, to work out, becoming "Beast" idols! The SJ flower boys have already dominated singing, movies and dramas, but for this time's , they had a photoshoot done for magazine again with their new concept! The series of photos with eyecatching makeup and hairstyles. Apart from every member having different hairstyles and colours, Donghae and Heechul's hairstyles have become the talk of the readers. Leeteuk and Eunhyuk who is responsible for showing their abs again, show their masculine charms. Sj has captured the hearts of young girls and they are expected to also capture the hearts of old ladies (?).

As mentioned before, recently many kpop idols have signed up on twitter and they update even more often than Cantopop idols. Rumours say that after the wild success of and the performance at the Shanghaei world expo on May 30th, and then news say that they will be in Singapore to hold a fan meeting! Other sources say that there is a chance that SJM members will be in Taiwan for a music awards ceremony. As Koreans are very attentive towards the World Cup, before it started, SJ invited everyone to sing to cheer everybody on. In August, subgroup KRY along with Donghae and Sungmin will be in Japan for a concert. After that, the rumoured "Super Show 3" would unfold. If these rumours are true, 2010 will be Super Junior's!

[news] Junsu finally recovers from Knee Injury and flies to LA to join 2pm and Wonder Girls on tour

Junsu of 2pm has finally fully recovered from his knee injury and will be joining 2pm and the Wonder Girls on their US Tour.

Junsu recently tweeted on twitter on the 12th KST "I just arrived in LA".

Junsu was able to participate in Wonder Girls' LA Concert at the last minute at June 11 8pm American Time as 2pm were the opening performers for the concert. Junsu will be joining with 2pm on the 12th at Anaheim and on the 13th at San Francisco.

Junsu of 2pm suffered a Knee Injury last May and had to perform in crutches and bandages. Accordingly, he wasn't able to Join in the US tour with 2pm last June 4 due to his knee injury as it might worsen his knee injury which is recovering but recently, he has recovered from his Knee Injury and will be joining in with 2pm and Wonder Girls on their American Tour.

It’s an Empire State of Mind with the Wonder Girls and 2PM

Most New Yorkers sought air-conditioned refuge from the scorching heat and hair-frizzing humidity as temperatures climbed into the 90s this past Sunday. Wonder Girls and 2PM fans, however, bravely lined 34th Street for blocks as they awaited the 8:00 p.m. concert as early as 9 o'clock that morning. If you can't call that dedication, I don't know what is.

A bad sunburn and 11 hours later, wilted (but quickly re-energized) fans were finally ushered into the Hammerstein Ballroom by groups of 10 or so. With many tours under its belt, JYPE obviously knew crowd control would be on red alert with a "first come first serve" standing room concert that day. But as soon as fans reached the entrance doors, I felt like Simba, who watched in terror as Pride Land's entire population of wildebeest charged towards his little body in the gorge. But replace wildebeest with fan girls and Simba with older/slower bystander (me) and you get the picture.

Fast forward another hour, a small sound or lighting change sent antsy fans screaming at the top of their lungs, only to be left disappointed by a simple power glitch. At that point, even passing stage security officers could have sent fan girls fainting to the floor. Finally, a spotlight captured JYP walking on stage. A sea of LCD screens illuminated the floor, as JYP exhilerated the crowd with welcoming words. He also informed long awaiting fans that a tornado warning delayed the artists’ flight to New York until only two hours before. After JYP made his exit off stage, the swift change in lighting meant only one thing. Screams of “What time is it?!” came from every corner and crevice. And there they were, 2PM in all of their eye-candy glory.

Standing between the barricade and the stage, I felt both the intensity of the die-hard fans pushing behind me (literally), and 2PM’s gravitating presence in almost close enough reach. Even with Junsu missing in action, the boys put on a dynamic show with crowd favorites 10 Out of 10, Again & Again and more recent hits, Heartbeat, Without U and I Hate You. Obviously these performances were complete with professionally mastered and absolutely amazing facial expressions that only front row fans would have been able to appreciate. Aside from their impeccable performances and contagiously high energy, the most memorable moment of the night award, hands down, went to Taecyeon for man-handling Junho’s butt while smirking devilishly at the audience. They know how to have fun on stage, I dig it. Of course I’ve seen their music videos and may or may not have attempted the Again & Again dance moves in the privacy of my own home (TMI? …probably). But seeing them perform up close and in person raised their wow-factor in my book, ten-fold. I honestly can’t say that their good looks and radiant star quality have nothing to do with my previous statement because lying is bad kids. And well, I’m 100 percent sure that every concert attendee would agree with me, especially the nameless fan girl out there who brought the “Taec it Off!” sign. Kudos.

Now with the audience at supreme energy levels, the anticipation for the Wonder Girls was even greater. Although I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing the girls once before, this was my first live Wonder Girls concert with newest addition, Lim. A year later and they were even more lovely, energetic and full of personality than I had remembered. On stage, a white curtain lit up to reveal five female silhouettes. Boisterous fans still on a 2PM high retreated their ogling screams to more endearing ones. These were mixed with “oohs” and “ahhs” as the moving shadows gave drama and sass to their introduction. Finally the curtain fell, unveiling the Wonder Girls as never seen before. The ladies traded in their sparkly dresses for more "good girl gone bad" studded leather selections that Rihanna would approve. Basically, the girls looked smokin' hot, while still keeping the group's defining wholesome character well intact.

As soon as the Wonder Girls began their performances it was as if everyone was magically transported into the world's largest NRB. Fans happily sang and danced along with Sun, Yenny, Yubin, Sohee and Lim to kpop staples Tell me, So Hot, Nobody and their latest release Two Different Tears. All that was needed was a big 100 to flash at the end of every song and my night would have been complete! The girls also amazed the audience with solo performances showcasing the members' personalities and individual talents. Though not a rapper by trade, Lim busted out Lil' Mama's Lipgloss, which was unexpected but received by the audience well all the more. Yubin, always so fierce, delivered an impressive cover of Black Eyed Peas' Boom Boom Pow with a body popping routine for an extra bonus. Yenny, with her powerful vocals, blew the crowd away with her rendition of Duffy's Mercy. Sun paid homage to the House of Gaga beautifully with her cover of Paparazzi, and Sohee worked the stage with Beyonce's Single Ladies dance. The solo performances were followed by additional covers including, Pussycat Dolls' Don't Cha and Stickwitu by all five ladies. As the night nearly came to a close, the Wonder Girls took the pop down a few notches with Yenny's original song Saying I Love You, which Yenny herself sat down to play on a grand piano.

At the end of the night, allkpop sat down with the Wonder Girls. Although they had a very long day singing, dancing and meeting hundreds of fans, the ladies still remained gracious and enthusiastic. Their smiles and laughter were so genuine and they welcomed us warmly to speak with them. Check out our interview and photos from the Sunday night NYC show! [news] Kwon & GaIn leaving We Got Married?

MBC's variety program 'We Got Married' producers have stepped forward to respond to rumors regarding Jo Kwon & GaIn leaving the show.

Rumors began to circulate once 2PM Nichkhun and f(x) Victoria were confirmed as the show's newest couple, leaving many to speculate the end of the Jo Kwon & GaIn couple.

Regarding this, 'WGM' producers met with JoyNews24 and stated, "Those are just groundless rumors regarding Jo Kwon and GaIn. The decision is left to what they want but they have yet to tell us anything. They still have a lot to show and remain as a highly anticipated couple."

We Got Married will be splitting into three couples with Jo Kwon and GaIn, Jung Yonghwa and Seohyun, and Nichkhun and Victoria.

The producers revealed, "Nichkhun and Victoria will be showing a unique kind of charisma compared to the other couples. They'll be bringing some changes to 'WGM' and the viewers will see a variety of different progresses with the couples."

Nichkhun and Victoria recently enjoyed their first date in the 63 building. Their episode will broadcast by the end of this month.

[news] Super Junior’s Message to Taeguk Warriors

Idol group Super Junior who recently released their new song "Miinah" and are showing their continuing popularity sent a cheer message to the national team of the World Cup.

Super Junior who has conquered various music charts and music program with their 4th album title song "Miinah" is enjoying their success with the A version of their 4th album which was released on the 13th and B version of the album whice was released on the 20th ranking number 1 and 2 in May album sales.

However, with good comes bad as sad news struck them. Member Kyuhyun has stopped his activity temporarily due to a surgery on the inflammation of the middle ear. The fans have expressed their concern for him by changing "Miinah"s lyrics to "Kyuhyunah."



Although Kyuhyun has been excluded, the voice that cheer the group on has not gotten smaller. 9 Super Junior members that includes Leeteuk, Heechul, Siwon, Donghae, Shindong, Yesung, Ryeowook, Eunhyuk and Sungmin started their cheer message with their trademark greeting, "we are Super Junior~."

Super Junior's leader Leeteuk said, "2010 World Cup in South Africa is starting soon. The first game is coming up soon and we hope the Taeguk Warriors show us a great game without injury." He also said, "many people want an encore of the legend in 2002 World Cup. However, this is not 2002. We hope they write a new history for 2010."



Lastly, Super Junior members gathered their strength to shout "Taeguk Warriors fighting!." They did not forget to say goodbye with their greeting, "we are Super Junior~"

[news] MBLAQ "In Order to Cheer for World Cup We’re Renting Super Junior’s Bus"

[TVDaily= Kim JinKyung Reporter] Boy group MBLAQ's plan for supporting the World Cup has been revealed.

On the 11th on KBS 2TV's "Music Bank" waiting room, when they met with the reporter they stated "We may or may not cheer on the World Cup along with Super Junior".

The members said "The Super Junior hyung's proposed that we watch and support our team during the World Cup together in their bus with an installed TV" and couldn't hide their excitement.

That day when MBLAQ sang "Y" a step manlier and displayed their sexiness, they received a hot applause from their fans.

I thought the water prank game was over, but I guess I was wrong. Early in the morning Heechul and Eunhyuk shared something for all the world to see and it is them playing the prank once again to Shindong who has fallen asleep in the waiting room.

[News] Rain was laughing, but was crying inside, when his name was called at 2010 MTV Movie Awards

Rain continues to bring the fever after his MTV win. In a recent broadcast where he was interviewed the day he went back to Korea, MTV's Biggest Badass Star expressed his hidden emotions when his name was called out. Also, he talked more of the 'Paris Hilton' issues which has been a hot topic after the event.


Rain stated his feelings about having won Biggest Badass Star at 2010 MTV Movie Awards carried live through MTV Korea on Juen 7th, beating the world's stars, 'Angelina Jolie', 'Channing Tatum', 'Christ Pine', and Samuel Worthington'.


Rain, the first star from Korea to take the MTV Movie Award Popcorn trophy, returned from abroad as crowds of reporters and his fans swarmed Incheon Airport on the afternoon of the 8th.


In an interview with 'SBS TV Entertainment News' at the airport, he said, "I had been deeply pained just by filming at the time of the Ninja Assassin shooting, but when my name was called at MTV Movie Awards ceremony, I was crying inside even if I was laughing."


Regrading 'Paris Hilton' who looked across at him when his name was called at the ceremony, he expressed, "She said she enjoyed my movie. I'm just thankful."


Meanwhile, Rain's realistic acting in Ninja Assassin appealed to the world, and he had taken home three awards, the Best International Entertainer (Asia), 10 Outstanding Asians in Hollywood, and Asian Cultural Ambassador of the Year at 2010 Green Planet Movie Awards in USA last March.

There was a recent survey conducted from May 31 to June 12 and the theme for the survey was "Which star can survive in a College Dormitory".

KkapKwon Jo Kwon was voted as number 1 due to his warm personality and got 38.1% of total votes. Park Myeong Soo was ranked 2nd with 26.2% and lastly MC and Comedian Kim Gu Ra was ranked 3rd with 17.9%.

Jo Kwon is currently active on variety programs such as MBC We got married and SBS Family Outing 2.

Not quite but almost! ESPN made a rundown on mostly all the world cup songs in the globe as how all the countries united to support their own teams for the world cup. Check this out:

[news] Night Star" Onew’s worry towards "too little screen-time"; Gil suggested to shave his head

In the recent KBS 2TV's overnight variety program "Night Star", Gil suddenly suggested SHINee Onew to shave his head.

Most of Onew's screen time in Episode 3 was of him laughing or eating. Hence, Onew expressed his worries: "My screen time on this show seems too little". Gil responded: "Let me tell you how to create spotlight in variety shows" and confidently suggesting him to shave his head. Towards this ridiculous suggestion, Onew replied very smartly, and from that moment onwards, his variety sense had been explosive. He kept on showing outstanding variety skills and comparing with the weird and witty Gil, he didn't lose out which left Shin Dong Yup and Yoon Jong Shin with a huge shock.

Hereupon, Onew and Gil's funny interactions could be seen in the recording with their unique conversations which made people around them burst into laughter.?

Koda Kumi Becomes 3D!

[News]MBLAQ G.O Says "Who Are You?" at Ivy

G.O of MBLAQ expressed his surprise upon seeing Ivy without make-up on.

G.O recently appeared on cable channel Olive TV's 'Style Ranking Show-Coco & Mark 2', where he participated in the 'office look' special. During the opening, Ivy, Jung Juri, and Shin SoYool did not have any make-up on, and he could not hide his surprise.

The filming took place at ApGuJeong Street, where G.O told Ivy, "I thought that during the week we weren't filming, all of you had been replaced".

But after this embarrassment, the MCs put their make-up back on and went back to their normal appearance. Ivy wore a sexy black outfit that complimented her body line. The reason the MCs appeared without make-up was so that the professional make-up artist could give them a makeover that was fitting for the 'office style' look.

Kim Heechul des Super Junior, est connu comme étant un accro de Twitter!  Le 9 juin, il a posté des photos prises avec Lee Hong Ki et Choi Kong Hun des F.T.Island, ainsi que  Simon D des Supreme Team ! À ces photos il a ajouté le commentaire suivant:

« Jong Hun, Ssam D, Hong Ki et moi-même sommes sur la photo! Nos corps ont l'air disproportionné je trouve! Héhé~ J'ai passé une bonne soirée et j'ai réalisé encore une fois que nous pouvons vivre la vie avec le sourire !! J'ai bu alors que j'avais encore mon costume de scène… »
