At KBS 2TV "WinWin" programme which is going to broadcast on June 8, Goo Hye Sun has displayed her close relationship with drama "Boys over Flowers" F4 members Lee Min Ho, Kim Joon, Kim Bum and Kim Hyun Joong.

Comicical acting's movie star Kim Suro and the new stars rising in the variety world MBLAQ have been chosen as the new main characters for the Mnet 'Celebrity goes to University Series' Season 4.

MBLAQ also expressed the honor for being able to do a variety show alongside actor Kim Suro who is so great at varieties and being able to work all together as one in this reality program as the main characters.

MBLAQ's Lee Joon recently came out on KBS 2TV 'Happy Together' and gave his company boss Rain a hard time and caused a lot of laughter and many are anticipating not only Lee Joon's but the other members' hidden charms as well.

Smiling face, nicknames calling him an angel, a prince, an idol star, and between them, a member of 2PM who pushes himself, the main role of a rumor, foreigner, 22 years old... Nichkhun was quiet and smiled often. However, he did not take any photos smiling.

The interview with Nichkhun was done through email, after he was done with his studio filming. On the day when 2PM won 1st place with 'Without You' on for the 3rd week in a row, he replied back at the late hour of over 3AM in the morning. That he was sorry for replying late, that he was too busy, that he was going to sleep and adding sleep well wishes at the end. He wrote in English, and didn't reply to the seven questions.

When you took the pose with the female model, you looked experienced and polite. I remember when the woman suggested holding your ear, you smiling brightly.
Did I do that? I like taking pictures quite a lot. It's because I can be a different person, other than being on the stage or filming a music video. In truth, I was slightly confused about a part of the concept, but it was fun because you demonstrated it well for me. The fact that a girl model was with me was really good. Didn't the set become more brighter?

Although 2PM emphasizes a macho image, you don't go hand in hand with that image. What do you think of being called sexy?
I don't think that idol stars have to be cute or pretty. We want to show various sides of ourselves to the fans so they don't get sick of us. Also, isn't being called sexy a big compliment? Isn't it easier to be called cute or charismatic? I think being sexy is hard. However, if the fans become tired of calling us sexy, we're going to try a new thing.

In one internet site there was a poll for netizens, it asked whether 'Gentle Nichkhun' or 'Charisma Nichkhun' was better. Can you predict the results?
Wouldn't it be more to the gentle side? I don't look tough like Ok Taecyeon. So I don't think that looking somewhat charismatic will fit well with my image. However, as I said before, I want to show many other sides of me as well.


Your guess was correct. The ratio was actually had a lot of difference, 9:1. What do you think of your image? It would be mostly women's gazes.
I think they like calling me angel or Thai prince. Of course, I don't not like being called that. There's no reason to not like that. However, I'm not really like that. I have a lot of faults. I also become angry. I also sometimes become depressed, I'm just a normal man. I hope they don't become disappointed after they see the real me, after thinking of me like that.

Aren't you a character that specifically only targets women? Did you think about the men who look at you? Quite a number of men will look at these pictures too, and they don't seem to think almost nothing of you. How does this make you feel?
Honestly, I don't know. Just to the level of that I would like it if they liked me?

When do you feel like you've really turned into a man?
It's after I took some kind of responsibility after starting work. To speak, I mean that I felt that all things should be completed in time. I also thought that I should treat the people around me well.

When becoming an adult, how did you change? Or are you still the same?
I changed a lot. I became a man who has to take responsibility for his work and actions, from the little boy child I was. I also always think I'm an adult too.

You are an adult, but isn't dating banned for you? Park Jinyoung representative has said that "When you succeed in life later, then women follow you on their own."
I always heard that. He said that becoming famous means that everyone in this world recognizes who I am. Therefore, he said you must work hard and never be satisfied of the person you are now. He said that once you're satisfied once, you can't ever build on top of that. In all, I agree with that statement.

No, I won't ever watch it together with someone else. I think it'll be too awkward.

Do you seem quiet because your Korean's still rough?
Yes. My style is that I like to talk and sometimes be funny, but most of the time I think I might make a mistake so I keep quiet. But don't I slowly start talking more and more? I want to talk more from now on and increase my Korean skills.

How are the you in Thailand speaking Thai versus you in Korea, talking in Korean?
I become a way more free person (in Thailand). However, it doesn't mean I lie when I speak Korean, or pretend to be a different person.

Somehow you start working in Korea and become famous, isn't life really unpredictable? Before becoming a singer, you probably didn't care for Korea at all.
When I was young, our car was Hyundai's, but aside from Hyundai cars, I didn't know anything about Korea before I signed a contract with JYP. Anyway, after I came to Korea, I try to think and act like a Korean. That way, I'll be able to intake the language and culture. I think the most distinctive detail about Korean culture is passion. Koreans are really passionate about the work they do. Also, they have very high pride. These two things are the most distinctive, I think it's because of these that foreigners take interest in Korea.

What is the meaning of the group called 2PM to you?
It's like a family. I think all the members' answers would be the same.

Then what is the meaning of you to the group 2PM?
Shouldn't you ask the members about this?

How do you think of the 'Nichkhun Loner' rumor?
I know that it spread rapidly through the internet. I know that a lot of people misunderstood. If I was to say it curtly, it's just a rumor, and it's not at all real. All of 2PM's members love me as much as I love them. We're almost brothers. We're really close and treat each other well.

Family is always like something to lean on, but because of that it sometimes creates bigger wounds. Despite 2PM's great performance on the charts, it seems to always be in an unsteady, complicated state. What do you talk about with the members these days?
Whenever there's a problem, we talk only amongst ourselves. We point out each other's weak points and talk about the things we need to develop more in the personal and group-wise area. As we do that, I believe we become more closer.

All the while, what do fans mean to you?
Without them, we couldn't live. It's the same reason for people not being able to live without air.

Being busy could also mean losing and forgetting something. If you get free time, are you going to say you're going to sleep?
Really, yes. I want to sleep. Then, I want to go to delicious restaurants and eat. I want to go to the beach with my family. I want to travel and meet up with other cultures. Because there's always something to learn, anywhere.

What are the thoughts you think the most these days?
I always think about the future. I think that if I work hard when I have strength and energy, I'll be able to rest peacefully when I age and become weaker. Also, I'll be able to give my family, if I get one, a peaceful life. I always think about that.

What kind of man is Nichkhun?
An ordinary guy who's been given a wonderful chance and a wonderful life? I try to live life to the fullest, and try not to lie to myself, however hard I get damaged. I'm not a prince, nor am I an angel. I'm just a human. The point is, I'm just very lucky.

So, do you want to compliment yourself?
I'm happy in the place I'm in. I'm happy when I think about how far I got. However, I'm not satisfied. I'm always hungry, so I won't ever be satisfied. Until I become a greatly rich person and get married, I probably won't be, will I?

Lee Junki completes his basic military training

It has been more than a month since Lee Junki got enlisted in the army, but he has now completed his basic military training and will be starting his active service in the Ministry of National Defense from today.

It was revealed that the noticeably thinner Lee Junki had performed excellently during his five weeks of basic military training as a recruit and was 1 out of four soldiers among 900 new recruits to receive a special award for his efforts.

Lee Junki will be serving in the PR department for the Ministry of National Defense from June 11th onwards. According to a spokesperson, Lee Junki was directly picked from the new recruits and he will be actively using his talents to promote the importance of national defense to the nation.

K-pop idols BEAST will hold a press conference today with various foreign media outlets regarding the expansion of their singing career in Asia, according to their agency Cube Entertainment on Friday.

Cube announced in a press release that the members will speak to journalists from six major Asian countries including Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Hong Kong and Thailand, via a video press conference,

For four hours, the boy band will explain their promotional plans for the Asian region as well as their expectations.

BEAST, which stands for "Boys of the East Standing Tall," debuted in October 2009 with the mini-album "Beast Is The B2ST". They have released several hits including "Bad Girl," "Shock" and "Easy."

Korean actor Kim Bum has been invited to a TV and movie festival in Shanghai as a VIP guest, according to his agency King Kong Entertainment on Friday.

King Kong announced in a press release that the actor, who left for China today, will be attending the 16th annual Shanghai TV Festival tonight and the opening ceremony for the 13th bi-annual Shanghai International Film Festival on June 12. 

"Kim Bum's popularity in China has been increasing since his role in the hit series 'Boys Over Flowers.' He has been invited to present an award during the closing ceremony for the TV fest," explained a rep from King Kong. 

The rep added that Kim will also be walking the red carpet at the prestigious Shanghai International Film Festival over the weekend and will carry out various interviews with popular media outlets in the country during his stay.

The Shanghai TV Festival is a prominent awards ceremony in the Asian TV industry, acknowledging and screening the best entries in drama, movies, documentaries and animation. 

The Shanghai International Film Festival, held from June 12 to 20, is one of the largest film fests in East Asia. The fest opens the world to China's film industry, filmmakers and other events. 

Kim, 20, has starred in several dramas and movies since making his debut in 2006. He is well-known for his roles in "High Kick" and "Boys Over Flowers."

[News] Yoon Sang-hyun to release 2nd single in Japan

Korean actor and singer Yoon Sang-hyun will be releasing his second single album in Japan at the end of this month, according to his agency MGB Entertainment on Friday. 

MGB announced in a press release that the single will go on sale in Japan on June 24, featuring three songs including title track "Jjikkayi" which was produced by Mori Daisuke who has worked with popular Japanese group SMAP, and the remake of 1985 Japanese hit song "Stay with Me Tonight." 

Yoon will hold a fan meeting at the CC Lemon Hall in Shibuya in celebration of the release of his second single album, where the actor will high-five each one of his fans and take the stage for a mini-live concert. 

Yoon made his debut in the SBS TV drama "Marrying a Millionaire" in 2005 and rose to fame last year after starring in the smash hit series "Queen of Housewives" and "My Fair Lady." 

He released his first Japanese single "Saigo No Ame" in March which placed at No. 11 on the Oricon charts on the first day of going on sale.

News: Ex Baby Vox Member Kan Mi-youn Makes Music Comeback

Former Baby VOX member Kan Mi-youn has announced through her official Twitter site (http://twitter.com/LOVEMIYOUN) that she will be making a comeback to the local music scene.

Singers Kim Hyeon-cheol, Insooni, Kim Gook-hwan, musical star Im Tae-gyeong, and actor Jang Geun-Seok have been attracting attention for making very generous donations… of their talents.

According to Kim Hyeon-cheol's representatives on the 31st, Kim, along with a few other stars, will be participating in an album titled "Dreams, Giving Them Wings" aimed at spreading love to the underprivileged. Kim was the head producer over the entire album and worked with stars such as singer Insooni, actor Jang Geun-Seok, popera star Im Tae-gyeong, and a singer seen on "Super Star K" — Korea's version of American Idol.

Insooni, who's been making waves with her song "Dream of a Goose" will be putting her own spin on the song "Dreams, Giving Them Wings", similar to Jang Geun-Seok who arranged a medium tempo version for himself. Not surprisingly, Im Tae-gyeong sung the same song in a popera version, true to form. The partially blind singer Kim Gook-hwan also made a couple original versions: one with the help of ordinary people and the other with the help of children.

The album "Dreams, Giving Them Wings" will be released on music sites in July. All proceeds will be going to the children of low-income families to better their education and lifestyles.

This album was postponed a few times already and fans have been anticipating for its released. Finally! We will be able to hear it.

Eva Popiel reveals her wedding pictorial photos

Actress/model Eva Popiel who will be getting married this October, has revealed her wedding pictorial photos.

She recently filmed for the wedding pictorial at Studio L’amant in Gyeonggi-do with her Korean husband, who is younger than her by a year and is currently a lifestyle fitness instructor.

The photos revealed felt like a artistic photoshoot, which was elegant yet romantic. As seen in the photos, her Chitchat of Beauties friend, Sayuri and Likeable or Not co-stars, Yoo In Young and Lee Young Eun also filmed the photoshoot with her.

Eva made her debut in Korea through Super Junior’s Full House in 2006.

The couple have already registered their marriage and will have a ceremony on October 16th. Congratulations to the newly-wed couple!

Mv du groupe Code-V et photos

Code-V n’est pas un nouveau groupe, non, puisqu’ils ont déjà essayé de percer dans l’industrie de la Kpop il y a 3 ans, en 2007. Ils sont de retour comme on vous l’avait annoncé dans un de nos articles précédents. Leur MV est sorti il y a quelques jours et pas moins de 76 photos sont disponibles pour les fans. Le groupe ne fait pas dans l’originalité car dès les premières secondes du clip ont peut déjà se dire : Mblaq ? (Liquide qui coule)…Ukiss ? (tatouage). Puis il y a des airs de Sorry Sorry (Le début du clip) et le refrain ressemble fortement à Insommia (Reprise de Craig David chanté par Wheesung). Est-ce que ça devient difficile d’être original ? Ou peut être n’est-ce qu’une mauvaise impression. Qu’en pensez-vous ?

[News]Death Bell 2′ girl casts, a surprise transformation to support World Cup players!

The cute and pretty casts of Death Bell 2 just sent a cute support to South Korea's representatives for 2010 South Africa World Cup.

The movie 'Death Bell 2' (Director: Yoo Sundong, Production: Core Contents Media) with their casts Park Jiyeon, Park Eunbin, Yoon SeungAh, Choi AhJin, & Nam Bora, transformed into sweet, fresh, and pretty 'Death Bell-idol'.

Despite their full shooting schedule, each of the actress practiced and show their support for the World Cup.

Especially T-ara's Jiyeon who's the only idol-star in the casts, become a big help for them.

Meanwhile, 'Death Bell 2' is about a murder mystery at a dormitory, when they're having a summer special class. All of them has to pay with blood, it's about a model student Woo Sunggo and the survival at the game.

With massive participation of Kim Suro, Hwang JungEum, Yoon Siyoon, Park Jiyeon, Park Eunbin, and addition of Ji CangWook, Yoon SeungAh, Son Hojoon, Choi AhJin, Nam Bora, Yoo Minju, Kwon Hyunsang, etc. They will release 'Death Bell' at the end of July 2010.

After the rumor between Rain and Jun Ji-Hyun was reported, two photos that Rain had posted on his Twitter site are gaining attention lately.  The photos features Jun Ji-Hyun and Rain in a very friendly manner (as shown in above) and they have been posted before the rumor was publicized. Determining from the quality of the photos, some are assuming that they are works of a professional photographer but some are using them as proof of their relationship.

Sistar joins the World Cup cheering squad with a Park Ji Sung song

With the 2010 World Cup kicking off today in South Africa, it might sound a bit belated at this point but it was revealed that rookie girl group Sistar will also be releasing a song to cheer on South Korea for the global event.

In conjunction with Carlsberg, Sistar will be singing the official fight song We Never Go Alone. The song is produced by the Brave Brothers and is based on the theme of trust and the leadership of captain, Park Ji Sung.

Starship Entertainment expressed, “Sistar are delighted to be singing this official fight song and they are big fans of Park Ji Sung!”

Sistar’s We Never Go Alone song will be released on the 14th.

[News] SISTAR to sing cheer song for S.Korean World Cup team captain Park Ji Sung

Newcomer girlgroup SISTAR and Imperial will release the official cheer song 'We Never Go Alone' for footballer Park JiSung.
The song is said to be composed by the Brave Brothers. The song lyrics is about the mentality and leadership of Park JiSung who is appointed the team captain of the South Korean representative team for 2010 World Cup.
Captain Park JiSung also left a message, "Please give me much support listening to this song!" SISTAR's agency StarShip Entertainment revealed, "The members are fans of Park JiSung, and being able to sing the cheer song for him, they are very excited. Please listen to the cheer song which will showcase SISTAR's unqiue style."
Meanwhile, the group was recently signed on as models for Samsung Yepp. They debuted last week with the song 'Push Puhs'.

WonderGirls SoHee talks about the misunderstanding she received for her eyeliner makeup.
The WonderGirls were on KBS Happy Together Season 3 aired on 11th June when the MCs asked SoHee, "Your eye makeup is such that the eyeliner goes up to the eye lids."
SoHee then said shyly, "I had received bashing comments on that. On news reports about me, I've seen comments like 'Did you do that makeup because you wanted double eyelids' and I was very hurt by that."
Meanwhile, on the show the members pick YooBin as the member who looks the most different when without makeup.

Epik High’s Tablo on recent suspicion that he didn’t attend Stanford

Lately, there has been building up of suspicion that Epik High’s Tablo did not attend and graduate from Stanford. Supposedly, the rumor started with by a person named Whatbcom and it quickly ballooned. To prove his innocence, he recently conducted an interview with a news reporter in full English. Here is a summary of the interview:

Q. Don't you think you should have done something when the rumor first circulated?

A. (Tablo) What I want to ask people is: "Do I need my tran and diplomas to become a musician?" When it turned out that some entertainers fabricated their educational credentials a couple of years ago, reporters verified mine. So I thought I didn't need to say: "See? I studied really hard." Since I was verified a couple of times by reporters and TV programs, I assumed people wouldn't buy those lies. I couldn't even dream that so many people would think that I'm lying.

Q. Why do you think these rumors became so preval!ent over the past couple of days

A. When I saw people were targeting my family with verbal abuse, I sued one netizen [who is accused of spreading rumors about Tablo in the first place] because I didn't want my father to see all this. His health has been bad for so long. So I sued the guy, but took care to keep a low profile with it. But then one reporter wrote about it, and even people who were not even interested in me started thinking I was lying. I'm the one who sued for malice, and then I felt like I was being judged negatively.        

Q. How do you feel?

A. I feel damaged. I mean, the things people ask me. If I asked you what happened to you eight, nine, or 10 years ago, you wouldn't be able to give me exact details. For people to expect me to remember every single last detail in my past, it's impossible. They can say, "Hey were you really wearing this 10 years ago?" If I say I don't remember, they say, "You're hiding something." If I say I think I was wearing a shirt, they say, "No you weren't. I have a picture of you wearing a jacket." This is a type of thing I'm going though right now. This is how you hunt witches, basically. This is how a witch hunt works.         

A. What do you want now?

Q. I don't care about restoring my public image. What I really want is that no one else is victimized as I have been by a combination of anonymity and malice [in cyberspace]. I hope there will be no more damage to my family. I want my mom and dad to be able to keep their chins up. I hope I could focus on my wife. And for those who love my music and who got hurt by this, I hope they wouldn't be hurt anymore.

[News] BEAST to hold press conference on 11th to reveal plans for Asian music market advance

BEAST will hold press conferences in several Asian countries announcing their Asian music market advance.
Cube Entertainment announced, "On the afternoon of 11th June, BEAST will be holding a press conference at the headquarters of Universal Korea with reporters and fans from 6 countries including Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Hong Kong and Thailand."
And about the press conference, "The contents will be about the plans and dreams of BEAST for their overseas market advance. The press conference will take about 4 hours." Much attention is on this press conference by BEAST as it will receive coverage by Asia's leading media as well as involving fans.
Meanwhile, BEAST will start their Asian promotions from next week in the Philippines.
