Apple Girl Kim Yeo Hee releases My Music MV

Having released the teaser, released her EP and performed at a showcase, Apple Girl Kim Yeo Hee has finally released the MV for her song, My Music.

Good song, good voice, just a pity about the MV which could have been developed better for her debut. Check it out.

Tablo ends the accusations on forgery of his academic background

After undergoing an endless trail of “false” accusations on reportedly forging his academic background, Tablo has finally brought an end to the debate by providing valid evidence today to prove that he was not lying about being a Stanford graduate.

Many believed the accusations would dissolve away quickly, soon after hearing the news that Tablo will be filing a lawsuit against the man who started the rumors first. However, that wasn’t the case at all.

Instead, more and more netizens began to get skeptical toward Tablo’s too-good-to-be-true record of being a Stanford graduate, and launched their own investigations to find the truth. However, they were not able to get any clear and conclusive answer.

Upon Tablo’s personal request, this document given by the National Student Clearinghouse. According to the document, Daniel Seon Woong Lee (Tablo’s real name) indeed entered Stanford in September of 1998 as an English major. It also validates that Tablo was awarded with his Bachelor’s degree in 2001.

Although this seems enough to prove that Tablo’s innocent, few media sources are still refusing to believe so. Whose side are you on?

Another Korean Celeb Graduates from College

After four years of study at prestigious Parsons the New School for Design in New York City-an institution that at one point schooled huge names in fashion today, such as Alexander Wang, Jason Wu,  Marc Jacobs, Tom Ford, Proenza Schouler and many, many more,  Korea’s own Lee Ji-sun, has celebrated her commencement and joined the ranks of some of fashion’s best designers.

Lee Ji-sun, also known as Sun Lee, was the 2007 Miss Korea winner who sadly did not meet the lofty expectations at the Miss Universe Pageant in 2008-although initially thought to be a contender for the crown, the Korean beauty failed to make the final round and left without placing.

However, it looks like there were other things in store for the lovely Miss Lee, as she has turned out to be quite the fashion student-could she be the next big name in fashion?? According to a close acquaintance of hers,  ”She finished top of her class and had a successful fashion show. Her works were recognized by fashion experts at Saks Fifth Avenue and were displayed in the department store’s show window.”

In fact, Lee had her designs up in the windows at the upscale department store as a reward for being a top student along with other recognized student designers.

Although this may be a few weeks old, I still found it truly inspiring-I’m glad to see that she didn’t give up after the pageant in 2008, and that she persevered and succeeded in this endeavor. As for the future, here’s what she she had to say: ”I plan to go back to Korea and hope to work in the entertainment business if I get a chance, perhaps hosting a TV show.” “Other than that, I’d like to launch my own knitwear brand in New York and continue to be a designer.”

So, who knows what will be in store for her…but I am excited to see what she ends up doing!

And here’s another lesson for all you recent or soon-to-be grads–even if you fail at something or things don’t work out the way you think they would, keep your head held up high and keep moving forward-something different but just as great might be around the corner! Congrats to any SB graduates out there!

[NEWS] Jinwoon’s safety is assured in South Africa

SBS's 'As the Flag Flies' has left for South Africa on the 9th at 5 PM out of Incheon International Airport in preparation for the 2010 South African World Cup.

Actor Kim Minjun, Lee Youngeun, 2AM Jung Jinwoon, and Misuda's Bronin has left along with Lee Youngjun PD and producer staffs. An associate stated, "We have already planned the safest route of traffic. We'll be using the help of Bronin, who's originally from South Africa, to help guide us to the safest places."

When asked why the team wasn't using the help of guards on site, the team stated, "It will make us seem out of place. We've decided that it would be more dangerous so we will not be accompanied by escort guards. We have already investigated the site on scene and will only be filming in areas near the hotel and stadium. We are preparing to move 3-40 people."

When asked regarding an SBS reporter attacked in South Africa while driving a rental car, the associate stated, "We will not be going to places that are unsafe. Safety is our first concern."

Former Baby Vox Member Makes Comeback

Remember Baby Vox? If you think of the five-member girl group with fond memories, you’ll be excited to hear that former member Kan Mi-youn will be making a comeback as a solo artist, releasing her single album in June. Kan announced the comeback through her Twitter account, hinting that she will film her music video soon with an unnamed male lead.  Per her Twitter:

“Tomorrow is the shoot for the music video..!! I’m scared…”  she wrote, adding, “Guess who the main male character is? I’m not gonna tell you!!”

Guess she’s not gonna tell us. What the heck, feel free to guess who it is — whoever’s guess is right,  gets cookies ( and the smug satisfaction that they must be psychic)!

T-ara’s Soyeon was envious about SNSD

T-ara member, Soyeon has revealed that she was once envious about SNSD while promoting with T-ara.

In a recent recording for tvN’s Taxi program without Eunjung, Soyeon revealed, “While doing promotions with T-ara, I was once envious about SNSD. As we were still rookies back then, I couldn’t help but notice that the cheers from fans and attitude by production staff towards SNSD were totally different from us (T-ara). I was very envious about that. I thought to myself and hope that T-ara can find success quickly too.”

Soyeon was actually in the final selection to be part of SNSD before joining T-ara. But she later left due to the harsh training and lack of determination.

This episode with T-ara will air on June 10th.

Jay Park parodies Taylor Swift & officially announces fanclub name

The widely followed Jay Park is back and better than ever with his sixth Youtube video, and fans of music, breakdancing and Jay in general are going to love this one – we get to enjoy a collection of his most recent bboy battles (around four minutes) and hear him talk about his official fanclub name (another four minutes) and then listen to him “cover” Taylor Swift (two minutes) to add up to a nearly ten minute long video!

Breakdancing aficionados get a good taste of this bboy’s skills and his creative improv style. It’s pretty incredible to see Jay doing all sorts of tricks, from sweeping the floor with his head (1:08) to bouncing everywhere with flips and twists (3:51).

After the collection of videos, Jay sat down (check out his FIFA World Cup shirt – yay for patriotism!) for an improv talk about his official fanclub name. Fans rocked the vote last month and the results are in: Jay Park’s fanclub has been officially titled Jay Effect, and each member is called a Jaywalker! Confused? As you may recall, the performer opened an online poll for worldwide fans to participate in last month, and Bumblebee led the race with nearly 40% of the votes. “What if I have guy fans?… I’m sure a guy doesn’t want to be called a Bumblebee,” Jay mused. “[So] I want each fan to be individually called the Jaywalker.” Collectively, the fanclub will be titled the Jay Effect, and the colors currently stand as black & yellow to fit the “bumblebee” concept.

To cheer up any fans that might’ve been disappointed with the new fanclub name, Jay ended the video with an amusing parody of Taylor Swift’s You Belong To Me and… well, that speaks for itself, doesn’t it?

Rain denies the rumors about his relationship with Jeon Ji Hyun

As promised, Rain has given his personal answer and feelings toward the circulating rumor on his relationship with actress Jeon Ji Hyun which became headlines. According to the man himself, “No, the rumors aren’t true.”

According to Rain, he’s known that a paparazzi was chasing after him for over a year. The media where that paparazzi belonged to recently contacted him, informing him that the company has successfully achieved various crucial information to back up his relationship with Jun Ji Hyun. Rain told the media to feel free to reveal them to public, as he had no reservations in saying that the rumors were false.

Many evidences supporting their relationship were actually given, including how both were sighted wearing Cartier’s couple-worn ring & bracelet and how Rain is often seen visiting Jeon Ji Hyun’s condominium in Seoul Samsungdong.

Toward these observations, Rain stated, “The two pictures were taken at different times and places, and I was wearing that ring with a family member of mine. It’s sad for me to see my family ring is getting viewed as a couple ring.

Rain also promised to post pictures of his father and sister wearing the same ring via Twitter to validate his statement. He then explained how an acquaintance of his resides in the same apartment as Jun Ji Hyun, which is the main reason why he visits the place much often.

J.Tunes revealed that the company will be filing a lawsuit against the media who started the rumor, for blatantly invading Rain’s privacy.

He uploaded a picture of himself on June 9th and wrote, “It’s been 700 days since 2am’s debut! Thank you^^ we will make it up with a lifetime of good music love you!!^^*” And he tweeted a few hours later, “Hurrah!20100610~^^It’s 700th day anniversray since 2AM debuted on July 11,2008.?~!????^_^*

Does Rain doth protest too much? After rumors started to spread that the singer/badass star was dating actress Jeon Ji Hyun on the down low, Rain took no time in clearing things up.

Rain strenuously denies the rumors of his romance with actress 'Jeon Ji-Hyun'. He plans to bring legal proceedings against 'Daily Sports Seoul'

Rain said, "My conscience is clear and I have nothing to be afraid of."

Rain also explained his ring on his finger presented in the concrete, "This ring is our family's way of affection between the members. I'll release our family's rings on my Twitter."

Associates of Rain plan to bring legal proceedings against 'Daily Sports Seoul' after verifying the news.

JTune has also released an official statement:

JTune Entertainment released official report on 10th June, "Even though it is true that Rain and Jeon JiHyun have close friends in common in the drama industry, reports and rumors that the 2 are in a love relationship after being introduced to each other are not true. The reasons why they were seen together at the i-park is because they have friends living there. The reported photo of them together are actually 2 photos of them taken individually. They are hurt that the rings that their families gave them are misreported as token of love between the 2."

Mo-Nae, Jae-In, Gun-Wook are in one spot. Mo-Nae reveals that Gun-Wook is not Hong Tae-Sung. Jae-In is shocked and gets mad at Gun-Wook. Later, Jae-In meets her ex-boyfriend during work. Gun-Wook tries to help her out by acting as if he was her boyfriend but Jae-In refuses. When she tries to get into her car, Gun-Wook moves faster and sits on the driver’s seat ahead of Jae-In. Jae-In tries to refuse him but eventually Gun-Wook drives all the way to a beach. At one point, they laugh with each other. During night time, they start drinking…..

Jang Na-Ra made her appearance in Shanghai Drama Festival on June 9th, looking like a doll. During the festival, she had announced three dramas that she had participated. Some of her projects already have finished filming and some are in the planning stage.

It seems that she is becoming one of the biggest stars in China, although her popularity is winding down in Korea. Still, she looks like a perfect doll and we wish her the best in China.

As all of you might already know, Danson Tang recently collaborated with f(x)'s Amber in his new song, I'm Back and the MV was just released today.

A sharp-eyed kpop follower noticed that Danson Tang was wearing the same headphones as G-Dragon in his Heartbreaker MV!

Rain & Jun Ji-Hyun love scandal?!?

Korea’s number one gossip newspaper Sports Seoul did it again and publicly revealed a love relationship between two top stars in Korea: Rain and Jun Ji-Hyun. The newspaper told that they have been dating since last October and they have witnessed their relationship throughout. And recently they have caught Rain and Jun Ji-Hyun’s special dating scene.

The newspaper told that they have seen Rain enter the gated apartment complex of Jun Ji-Hyun’s (I-Park) and head straight to Jun Ji-Hyun’s elevator. They met whenever Rain had free time while he was in Korea.

Sports Seoul brought up another evidence of the couple’s love, which is the couple set jewelry. As shown in below, Rain’s ring on his finger and Jun Ji-Hyun’s bracelet on her arm are couple products from Cartier.

However, some people are calling this scandal complete bogus. As you can see from these photos, Sports Seoul was never able to catch two of them in a same spot on camera. And the newspaper seem rather forceful when they claimed that a ring and a bracelet could be a couple product.

Regarding the situation, Rain’s management company told, “As far as we know, Rain is not meeting anyone. We will need to confirm from him.” Meanwhile, Jun Ji-Hyun’s management company stated, “It is first time hearing regarding this scandal. Her relationship with Rain is only on a drama casting.”

Hot on the heels of the recent news reports that pop star Rain and actress Jeon Ji Hyun have been dating for months, Rain has released a statement denying any relationship. In addition, his associates have confirmed his plans to sue Daily Sports Seoul, the newspaper which released paparazzi photos of him and Jeon Ji Hyun standing outside her apartment complex.

"My conscience is clear and I have nothing to fear," said Rain during a telephone interview with Daily Hankook. "Daily Sports Seoul has been spying on me for a year. They claim that they have concrete evidence. I ask them to show me this evidence."

He also explained that the Cartier "couples ring" he had been photographed wearing was actually a "family ring" worn by all the members of his family. "I'll display our family rings on my Twitter," said Rain. At this time, Rain has not confirmed having an official Twitter account.

On the 10th, Hanaro Dream held a world cup related poll for two weeks on portal site Dreamex with a total of 2,417 participants. When asked 'which celebrity seems like they would fit the image of a soccer player if they were to become one?' 2PM's Ok Taecyeon took #1 with 41% (982 people) of the votes.

As you can see in the photos,the girls were paying full attention when the doctor explained the conditions of their eyes to them,they should reveal some photos of the girls wearing specs,don't you agree with me?

I believe all of you know who is the mastermind of Super Junior's refreshing game.
Yes, its him, Kim Hee Chul. He has splashed water on DongHae, ShinDong and Eunhyuk
but nobody has done to him yet. I guess he must be very cautious every now and then
because who knows? One of the members might splash water on him anytime whenever he sleeps. Its good that he gets some sleep although not confirmed whether its indoors or outdoors. I don't think any members can sleep if the game continues, right?

After School gets their own variety program

For the first time since debut, girl group After School will be featured in their very own variety program.

The show, called Play Girlz School, is expected to give full access to the girls’ behind-the-stage stories for the fans around the globe. Also, After School promises to interact with their fans much more during the filming of the program, as they’ve already posted an invitation letter to ask to join them in the show’s opening ceremony pretty soon.

Play Girlz School will be broadcast every Tuesday on MBC every1, starting in July.

[Picture] Star Concert poster is out!

In order to celebrate and support their national team in World Cup 2010 this year, Korea has prepared a concert. This are the following groups/singers that will be performing:

-Super Junior
-C.N Blue
-4 minute
-2AM
-SHINee
-B2st
-Ivy

The theme for this world cup is ' The shouts of the reds', as you can see from the poster. The concert will be on 12th of June, 6pm KST. Many are anticipating it because there hasn't been any concerts like this after Dream Concert. Its also good to see koreans being so supportive of their own national team.

ZE:A’s Dongjoon is next on Mnet Scandal

After a long lapse since MBLAQ’s Thunder and U-Kiss’s Eli, it looks like Mnet Scandal has strike again and have cast their 3rd idol star for the second season.

The controversial and somewhat dreaded program has recently filmed an episode with ZE:A’s maknae, Dongjoon who acted as a boyfriend to a lucky girl who applied to be on the show. Check out the pictures of their date which were revealed on Twitter. The episode will air soon, so stay tuned!

[News] Drama ‘Bread, Love and Dreams’ Unveils Posters

The KBS Wednesday and Thursday drama "Bread, Love and Dreams," which will be broadcast as a follow-up drama to "Cinderella's Step Sister" beginning from June 9, unveiled drama posters.

"Bread, Love and Dreams" will highlight emotions towards bread and it is basically a family drama that will portray the success story of main actor Kim Tak Koo (Yoon Si Yoon), who will one day become the best pastry cook in the nation

Released posters are of two kinds. One depicts the four main cast members with their individualities and the other one shows a confrontation between male leads Yoon Si Yoon and Joo Won, which is enough to raise viewers' expectations.



Four cast members are showcasing their different facial expressions and charms to attract viewers' eyes. Yoon Si Yoon has appeared with floured hands and face as if he had just emerged from the kitchen after baking pastries. Joo Won shows a stylish look. Lee Young A and Yoo Jin reveal their fresh charming looks.

Yoon Si Yoon reveals a rather relaxed face in a pastry chef apron and Joo Won stands with his back turned toward Yoon Si Yoon, revealing sharp eyes that showcases his character in the drama. Their attitudes in the poster is generating interest in the two male actors' showdown in the drama.

The drama "Bread, Love and Dreams," which will present Kim Tak Koo's success story with impressive episodes amid sweet baking smells, held a press production presentation on June 8, and will air its first episode on June 9 at 9:55 pm on KBS 2TV.

[news] Jun Ji Hyun’s agency strongly denies the issue of Jun Ji Hyun being in a relationship with Rain

Celebrities Rain and Jun Ji Hyun have been allegedly said to be "Dating each other" however both parties have strongly denied the relationship issues surfacing.

Jun Ji Hyun's agency Sidus HQ has made their official statement about the issue, on a phone call interview they said, "This is absolutely not true" they continued "They met a couple of times because of their drama schedules" and strongly refuted the issue of Rain and Jun Ji Hyun dating, "The issue's about the bracelets and couple rings are not true as well".

Meanwhile, J.Tune Entertainment have said that they will give their official statement about the mater this 1pm KST.

According to officials on Rain's side, The relationship with Jun Ji Hyun seemed ot to be true. Also both parties have strongly denied the issue.
