4minute releases BTS footage from Japan concert

Last May, girl idol group 4minute released a video clip of behind-the-scenes of their first concert in Japan. The clip contains footages of the members practicing hard and scenes of Japan fans passionately cheering the group.

After the concert, each of the 4 minute members couldn’t hide their excitement and nervousness towards performing their own solo concert for the first time. Member Hyuna especially commented, “Was I the only one who missed a step? I was totally shaking.” In addition to talking about their experiences of performing their first concert ever, the members also left a message and goal to work harder in order to have a solo concert in their home country, Korea.

Meanwhile, 4minute is receiving a lot of popularity through their newly released song Hit Your Heart and is busy with promotional activities.


Jiyeon leads Death Bell 2 female students to cheer for Korea

The pretty girl cast members in the horror movie Death Bell 2 recently took the initiative to cheer for Korea’s sport athletes just in time for Africa’s 2010 World Cup.

Currently in their second year of high school, Park Eun Bin, Yoon Seung Ah, Choi Ah Jin and Nam Bora made a transformation to cute cheer leading students. Girl group T-ara’s Park Jiyeon especially participated in the cheering feat by helping other members create the new cheer leading unit and making a clip out of it.

Death Bell 2 revolves around the story of high school students during summer break who receive special tutoring sessions while living in special dorms. One day, the high school girls experience the murder of a fellow classmate and become entwined in a twisted fate of survival.

The movie will open in cinemas in July.

2PM Nichkhun and f(x) Victoria have become a new couple on the MBC real variety show 'We Got Married."

Although they have not yet been on an episode, they have finished their first filming. Fans have not had only-complimentary things to say about their pairing.

In the past, there were also many people who opposed SNSD Seohyun and CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa's pairing on 'WGM.' When SG Wannabe's Kim Yongjun was paired with Hwang Jung Eum; 2AM's Jo Kwon with BEG's Ga In; and Lee Sunho with Hwang Woo Seul Hye, though there may have been people who didn't care, there were few who opposed these pairings. It was only with Seohyun and Jung Yong Hwa's pairing that voices of opposition were heard.

It is obvious that when current 'hot' idols enjoy the married life, it becomes a hot topic. The premise is called 'real;' it is the 'marriage' that stimulates the fantasy.

Nowadays, idols cannot even appear on entertainment shows properly. First-generation idols from the past (HOT, Sechs Kies, SES, FinKL) used the strategy of mystery. When they were asked about who they were dating, they would reply, "My fans are my boy/girlfriends," and even if they were dating, they would wave their hands and say, "Absolutely not," and lie.

Idols these days have changed greatly from the past. If idols from the past wavered on the boundary between humans and gods, nowadays fans feel a bit closer to their idols, as if he's the good looking oppa from school.

Even so, it is dangerous to talk about idols dating. This is because fans don't want the celebrities they like to be close to any one person. What's worse, companies lay down a rule of 'No dating' for their celebrities.

2PM Nichkhun's fans call him 'Angel Nichkhun.' His white skin, cute face, and bright smile have received a lot of love from fans. As one might notice, the nickname 'Angel Nichkhun' has a more significant meaning for Nichkhun's fans than simply 'a good looking celebrity.'

It is therefore obvious that fans would not like the news that Nichkhun is getting married (even if it may be a fake marriage). On top of that, on June 7th Nichkhun left a comment on U-Kiss' Alexander's Twitter picture from SBS entertainment program 'Star King' saying, "My wife!" showing his affection for Victoria.

That he was able to pick out Victoria in the picture even though only her back was showing made fans especially sad, and they made their disappointment heard.

Nichkhun and Victoria's married life hasn't even officially begun. But fans are already shouting, "We are opposed to this marriage!" "Nichkhun, I'm begging you," showing their strong disapproval.

It will be interesting to see how fan's reactions may change once their married life hits airwaves.

Sandara Park did a special appearance on KBS 2TV WinWin aired on 8th June when she talked about her 6-year friendship with Goo HyeSun.

Sandara Park said, "When I first came to Korea 6 years ago when I was 20 years old, she had taken good care of me as a friend of same age. I came to Korea for a while during my promotions in the Philippines, and Goo HyeSun had brought me out to places like theme parks to play despite the fact that she was famous. She also guides me a lot."

Following that, Sandara Park revealed a photo taken with Goo HyeSun 6 years ago, "My image back then was of mischievous kid. And Goo HyeSun was like a princess."

Sandara Park also revealed, "When Goo HyeSun was starring in Boys Over Flowers, I had wanted to ask her to introduce me to the others, but being introvert, I couldn't. The others are all so cool.." rousing laughter from the other star appearances.

HyunA can play soccer too

4minute’s HyunA proved that she is a major triple threat, she can rap, dance and play soccer.

During filming of 4minute’s Friend Day, a program where the girls are looking for friends, the girls went to a high school and took some classes with the students such as music and gym.

When the girls came out in casual workout clothes to get ready to fully play soccer, students were surprised at how down to earth they were.

HyunA was a true soccer beast. She kicked the balls and high and far and shocked everyone. She’s the true MVP.

The episode airs on the 26th.

[News]Jay’s return to Korea delayed again!

2PM's former member and leader Jaebum's return to Korea will be delayed and has been rescheduled to some time after the 14th.

On the 9th, an associate of Hype Nation called Money Today Star News and stated, "Because of Jaebum's schedule in America, his return to Korea will be delayed by a couple more days."

Having originally planned to to start recording on the 14th, Jaebum is planning to enter Korea in the middle of June.

Goo Hye-Sun started to tear as soon as she met SNSD Yoona on KBS WinWin. GHS states that, these days, she really likes SNSD's Yoona. Through the SNSD's choreographer, GHS found out Yoona's telephone number. Since then, GHS and Yoona have texted each other but have never met in person.

Yoona was the second surprise guest for GHS. GHS became tearful and was very excited to see Yoona. GHS said, 'It is so nice, I cannot stop the tears.' Yoona said, 'When HS unnie texted me that she likes me, I was so amazed.'

MC Tae Yun who is the leader of SNSD sad, 'It is interesting that two people who are as pretty as doills like each other–it is like similar people meeting similar people.'

f(x)'s Krystal, who is currently gaining momentum with f(x)'s newest hit NU ABO, has revealed an apology that she would like to say to her senior, SNSD's YoonA.
Krystal recently ventured on her first solo project by costarring with fellow singer Tei as lovers in Alex's music drama Melody (Moderato). However, it's since been revealed that Krystal was not the first pick for this project. SNSD's YoonA was originally assigned the role of the main heroine, but she ended up having to back out due to scheduling conflicts.
16-year-old Krystal was casted in the second round of casting due to her similarity to YoonA and the high school student vibe that she gave off. Though she obtained this position fair and square, Krystal still felt the need to apologize to YoonA for essentially "taking" her role.

[NEWS] HyunAh Sheds Tears At 4Minute’s First Fanmeeting

At 4Minute's official fanmeeting at the Samsung Dong Culture Center, the girls took HyunAh by surprise after showing her a special video message.

June 6th was a very special day for 4Minute member, HyunAh. Besides holding the group's first fanmeeting, it was also her 19th birthday.

Unknown to HyunAh, the rest of the members had secretly filmed a special video for her. She was shocked when the girls got up and improvised a surprise birthday party.

After watching the video, HyunAh was left speechless and couldn't hold back her tears as she hugged the members. She said to them, "Being here with you, it's a place where I can feel your love and strong friendship."

A Cube Entertainment representative told the press: "HyunAh was really surprised and impressed by the dedication of her members. She was touched to tears."

After the fanmeeting was over, the five members immediately headed to practice, preparing for their upcoming performances of 'HUH'. With their future activities in Japan, the girls have a hectic schedule ahead of them.

According to Kyuhyun's fancafe, a Chinese group who is anti Hallyu will release a hacking virus at Super Junior's official Website. They blame Super Junior for the incident that happened in Shanghai Expo instead of blaming the people who held the event. So, as a result, they will release a hacking virus at Baidu website and Super Junior's official website. This virus will hack into any computers that visits both websites. So, do not visit both websites for awhile since the hackers will continue to release viruses.

I think its really bad of them to release virus just because they assumed that Super Junior caused 1 death during their performance at Shanghai world expo. Till now, it hasn't been confirmed by the Chinese press that somebody died at the expo. It is probably a rumour that has been spread by some people because the chinese media didn't confirmed yet. So please, don't visit their official website if you don't want your computer to be filled with virus!

YG Entertainment’s CEO Yang Hyun Suk became very touched after watching Big Bang T.O.P’s appearance in the movie 71-Into the Fire.

On June 8th, the YG Family “daddy” went to Seoul’s Lotte Cinema in order to watch a V.I.P premiere of 71-Into the Fire and view T.O.P’s acting skills. In the movie, this charismatic Big Bang member plays the role of a character named Oh Jang Bum. There have been spreading compliments among those who have already watched the movie that T.O.P was very good as an actor.

Fellow members G-Dragon, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri who all came to the premiere raised their thumbs towards T.O.P’s superior acting skills. Regarding the movie, members commented, “We can see how much work and effort he put in towards this movie” and “We feel good that he came out well.”

Daesung texted T.O.P after the preview, “I knew how hard it was for you to film this movie, but because it is a war movie it seems to have been even harder. However, you were portrayed very well in this movie, so congratulations.”

Congratulations to T.O.P for his first war movie appearance!

He was really good as an actor throughout his completed works, so I am sure he will be great for this one as well.

MBLAQ's Lee Joon displayed his close friendship with the figure-skater Kwak Minjung.

Lee Joon, who has appeared on SBS Power FM 'Park Sohyun?s Love Game' on the 7th, revealed, "I got to know Kwak skater through a CF I we did together, and after that we have a close brother and sister relationship."

Well, she is an indie singer in Korea and her career name is Lady Jane. She used to be visiting singer for Humming Urban Stereo’s 2nd album in 2006 and now a vocal for Tiramis.

It was a public fact before that Simon D had a girlfriend but it became a hot topic when Simon D was asked out from the Avatar dating program from the TV show At Sunday Sunday Night. The program had him blind date a girl but had to do everything another guy was telling him through wireless ear phone connection. Guess you can call that a virtual cheating huh?

Park Jung Min drives SS501

SS501’s distinct member Park Jung Min claimed himself as the most influential person in the team.

During a recent interview for SBS News Korea’s Star Q-10, the idol revealed the truth behind rumors that although fellow member Kim Hyun Joong is the official leader, he is the “actual” leader. Regarding the rumor, Park Jung Min said, “I am better in terms of personality, charisma and driving force. The other members change their minds too often.” He then continued in a half-joking manner, “I’m sure you may have already noticed by now, but the actual main influential person in SS501 is me, Park Jung Min.”

On other news, multi-entertainer Park Jung Min was said to have recently opened an online shopping mall as a CEO. He has also gained attention for his fluent language skills in Japanese and learning skills in Chinese.

[NEWS] T.O.P’s Acting Made Yang Hyun Suk Cry

YG Entertainment's president, Yang Hyunsuk has shed some hot tears. It was during a war blockbuster movie, 71 – Into the Fire, which stars Big Bang's TOP.

Director Lee Jaehan's new movie, 71 – Into the Fire has opened a special viewing on the 8th at the Lotte Cinema. Jang Donggun, Kim Namju, Son Taeyoung, Kim Jaedong and many others came, but among them, Big Bang, 2NE1 and other artists have shined the dark movie theater in support of TOP's new movie.

When the special viewing was happening, the press were disappointed in not being able to attend this special viewing. Instead, they waited outside early in the morning with the fans until the movie was over. 71 – Into the Fire has not only gained attention because of the casting of big stars, such as TOP, Kwon Sangwoo, Cha Seungwon, Kim Seungwoo, Park Jinhee, and many others, but it's because this movie is the comeback of director Lee Jaehan after making A Moment to Remember.

President Yang and YG family have received cheers and applause when they entered the stage. When it was TOP's turn to give his greeting, the audience stood up from their chairs and clapped and cheered loudly for him.

Once the movie began, the cheerful crowd died down. 71 – Into the Fire depicts the event that happened at during the Korean War. It involves 71 students who had the face the war. The movie brought pain and yet it touched the hearts of the audience.
Whenever TOP would appear, the members of YG family would say, "oh," but as they continued watching the movie, the sounds of sniffling could be heard and for some, tears could be seen in their eyes.

After the viewing, Yang Hyunsuk stated, I didn't know this movie was this sad. I never imagined I would cry so much. TOP was very natural with his character. It seems like he got a lot of help due to working with great actors who were able to support him.

Big Bang and 2NE1 were sitting in the back, watching the movie and when it was over, they gave two thumbs up and couldn't hide their happiness at TOP's success.
That night when the team went out for dinner, TOP called Yang Hyunsuk and thanked him for giving him this opportunity.

Movie Street Dance’s genius dancer George Sampson has recently proposed a dance battle against Jay Park while in Korea.

George Sampson is receiving a lot of attention for visiting Korea for movie promotions and making an appearance as a guest on popular SBS variety show Star King. This dancer has become an issue of hot topic online as he posted a video on Gom TV challenging Jay Park to a dance battle.

Sampson who has an interest in Korea because of their well known skilled bboying, confessed, “I heard about Jay Park’s dancing skills during my stay in Korea.” He then said awkwardly in Korean, “Jaebum hyung, let’s meet.”

Park JungMin was recently featured in SBS E!TV 'E! Nwes Korea – Star Q10? and he revealed that even though Kim HyunJoong is the leader, the real force of the team is actually himself.

He said, "In terms of personality, charisma and driving force, I'm the most outstanding. The other members will often change their words. But like many of you have noticed, the force of SS501 is me."

Recently Park JungMin started his own online shopping mall. And he revealed the fan letters which were sent to his office.

The show is set to air on 9th June at 8pm.

Most episodes of We Got Married shows the privacy of the couples’ lives. It looks like CNBLUE’s Yonghwa and SNSD’s Seohyun couple’s fame is getting in the way of their date.

Remember when Ivy officially released a statement about her comeback being delayed? Well, her management company has screwed it up again as they stated yet another album release delay.

Fortunately, however it has been definitely decided that she will comeback to the music scene this September as a ballad singer.

Although Ivy was previously scheduled to release her album this summer, she has had to delay her comeback again due to her appearance in the musical Kiss Me Kate and not receiving a satisfactory song.

Related officials of this singer stated, “Ivy plans to return with a ballad song this September. She is currently in the process of recording. As of now, we are not sure if this will be a full album or a mini album.”

Additionally, others with relations to Ivy commented, “She is concentrating fully on the musical right now. Because she has to master both singing and acting at the same time, Ivy has her hands full with practicing as of the moment.”

Le Mv est sorti cette nuit et c’est un vrai trésor ! Le groupe de la Woolliment ent. (la maison de disque des Epik High) propose son ‘Boys Band’ les Infinite, un bon nombre de maisons de disque en ont un, La Woolli ent a donc tenté et je trouve que ce n’est pas si mal que ça. Le style est original et très prometteur. La chanson s’imprime facilement et la chorégraphie est magnifique, très travaillée. On ne sait pas encore grand chose de ce groupe mais ils ont un grand potentiel. SungGyu (Leader), MyungSoo, SungYeol, WooHyun, DongWoo, HoWon,et SungJong (Maknae) doivent assurer pendant les lives afin de vraiment pouvoir se faire une place dans la monde la Kpop, qui compte déjà énormément de groupes et de nouveaux groupes à l’heure actuelle.

T-Max’s newest Don’t Be Rude dance has been catching on to the public ever since its release last week. It’s so hot that Super Junior’s Eunhyuk, Leeteuk and Donghae along with Brown Eyed Girls’ Jea are doing the dance too.

On Super Junior’s Kiss the Radio, T-Max’s Shin Min Chul had came on as a guest and taught these idols the new dance moves.

The dance’s main focus is the way your arms are. It’s the position your arms are in after you kind of slapped something.

Infinite releases Come Back Again MV

After several teasers, Woolim’s Entertainment rookie boy group, Infinite will begin their K-pop journey on June 9th with the launch of their first mini album, First Invasion.

Besides releasing their album today, their title track MV, Come Back Again has also been released via Woolim’s Youtube channel. The boys will also perform at a showcase in Times Square, CGV this evening and have their first debut stage on M! Countdown on June 10th.

Nichkhun of 6-member group 2PM revealed a time he mistook Junsu for Thai.

On the 8th on the 2010 World Cup Special of SBS 'Strong Heart," Nichkhun started with, "When I couldn't speak Korean well, I received a lot of misunderstanding."
