| [News] KangIn receives warrant for army enlistment in October, but earlier enlistment is possible Posted: 21 May 2010 11:11 PM PDT
Super Junior member KangIn (25) has received a warrant from Office of Military Manpower Administration (MNA) to enlist into the army in October. But on 22nd May, according to a SM Entertainment representative, there is possibility that KangIn will enlist earlier. The reason is that KangIn has already signed up for enlistment at the MNA. The SM rep said, "If KangIn's application for enlistment is acceptable, we were informed that he will be in July." It is known that KangIn will be enlisting as rank 2, determined by a physical examination he took.
Caught in controversies like assault and drink driving last year, KangIn did not participate in Super Junior's recent 4th album promotions, and announced his decision of enlisting into the army via a post he posted up on Super Junior's fancafe. S:SPN Credits:Kbites  No related posts.

But a representative from SM Entertainment expressed on May 22nd, “Kangin has received his enlistment papers for October. However, if he decides to enlist voluntarily and the application gets accepted, his enlistment will be as early as July.” He also added, “Of course, it is not definite yet, so we will have to keep our eyes open for the July enlistment.” It looks like Super Junior fans may be saying a temporary goodbye to Kangin way earlier than they thought! After collaborating together to endorse Caribbean Bay, Korea's hottest idol groups SNSD and 2PM released a music video for their promotional song, 'Cabi Song.' In the video, which is matched by a cheerful track and light rhythm, SNSD's Yuri, Seohyun, and Yoona, as well as 2PM's Chansung, Nichkhun, and Taecyeon were seen giving off a sexy vibe throughout the film. Although Caribbean Bay may only have been hoping to gain more views by showing the idol members in such revealing lifeguard-like clothing, they instead received much negative feedback on the content of the video. A few scenes, including one in which Nichkhun and Yuri are shown rubbing body oil on each other and another scene in which the 2PM-SNSD couples are shown dancing in a nightclub, particularly gathered much criticism from netizens. Many who saw this music video complained that "it was so vulgar, it doesn't even seem like a […] commercial," explaining that "[the producers] could've just shown a healthy and bright video of [the idols] playing at the theme park; there was no point [in] making […] such a vulgar mood." With such displays of conservative thinking, the 'Cabi Song' CF is not attracting nearly as much positive attention as the producers had originally been hoping for.

Posted: 21 May 2010 10:16 PM PDT We’ve seen the close bonds between MBLAQ and BEAST in the past, and they are very much the opposite of rivals. We are seeing more evidence of their close friendship, as both groups celebrated Coming of Age Day together. The two groups were guests on Super Junior’s radio show Sukira, and several photos surfaced on the web which included Yoseob and Thunder, who are the ones turning legal, posing for the camera with a cake. Photos which fangirls would adore also surfaced, which consisted of Super Junior, MBLAQ, and BEAST members kissing (?) each other, Eunhyuk with Junhyung, Seungho and Thunder and the reluctant couple, Yoseob with Leeteuk. The show’s representative stated, “Today is the day where our cutie maknaes are growing up to be men. When Coming Of Age Day is brought up, we think of roses, presents, perfume, and kisses. The studio was raging with love.” Congratulations to Yoseob and Thunder, we hope the two of you do not get assaulted by girls too much!

After coming in first place on the Music Bank K-Chart, Super Junior easily snatched the first place trophy just within two weeks of their comeback, and they want to prove to fans just how thankful they are. Leader Leeteuk uploaded the above picture to his personal Twitter, writing, “First place! We cried, because we were so happy. We’ll treasure this trophy that everyone has given us.”
Donghae also uploaded a silly picture of the trio Donghae, Shindong, and Leeteuk fooling around and kissing their first place trophy backstage. Even more touching was that Donghae expressed his thanks to their fans, but he didn’t forget to mention the absent members of Super Junior. “SuJu got first place. Hankyung, Kangin, Kibum, we love you. We’ll work harder from here on out,” he wrote, expressing his still present thoughts of the missing members. ”I love you. No matter what others say, we will follow the path that we have to follow. Thank you.” Ever since news of Kangin’s personal troubles hit the news, Kangin was withdrawn from all Super Junior activities; he soon followed up by voluntarily joining the Korean army. Hankyung has disconnected with SM Entertainment after a lawsuit on unfair conditions, and he was forced to leave Super Junior. Kibum has taken a momentary hiatus in order to concentrate fully on his acting career. This reduction of three members has undoubtedly left the win bittersweet for the Super Junior members, but their excitement over the big prize has certainly not faded. | SNSD becomes real cheerleaders for an American football game! Posted: 21 May 2010 09:48 PM PDT On May 22nd, SNSD transformed into real cheerleaders for Korea University’s final game in the Korea’s University Football League. SNSD first transformed into football cheerleaders in their music video for Oh! In fact, actual Korea University football students were part of the music video! SM Entertainment’s CEO, Kim Young Min, was actually a member of the football team while attending Korea University. The girls were invited to perform and they duly obliged with song performances. Tiffany also kicked a football into the crowd while the other members threw them as momentos for lucky fans who managed to catch them as they fly at them. These football players and fans are surely lucky. Who wouldn’t want 9 gorgeous girls cheering for them and giving them balls?

Nine member group SNSD transformed as real cheerleaders at a football game! They also did a couple of moves throwing the ball (whatever it’s called) and the lucky football players got to do a little bonding time with the girls! At May 22, 11:00 am KST they made a surprised visit at Namyangju Stadium for the NCAA tournament Football finals. They gave the opening performance to the final game for the football tournament appearing as cheerleaders for the football players. As you remember, SNSD were cheerleaders for football players in their oh! music video, this event made the concept of the music video into reality, also there is an interesting fact that a Korean University football player appeared at the music video! Also SM Entertainment’s CEO Kim Yung Min was also a Korea University Football player back in his student days. Meanwhile, SNSD will also be performing tonight at 7:00 Pm KST at the 2010 Dream Concert and after they will be pursuing their individual activities and then their oversea’s activities for their first Asian Tour. | Leeteuk thanks fans for their first BONAMANA win Posted: 21 May 2010 09:19 PM PDT Super Junior had a great comeback with their latest hit song BONAMANA and once again set their place as one of the most popular idol groups in Korea. They recently won their first trophy after their comeback on Music Bank, and leader Leeteuk posted a picture of him holding the trophy. The picture had a smiling Leeteuk holding the trophy in his hands, which consisted a message stating, “I am smiling holding the trophy that we won on Music Bank. We’ll take good care of the award that was given because of you guys!” I’m sure the group is very happy right now, seeing that another one of their songs is a hit. Now, Shin Se Kyung will be showing off her sexy dancing skills! What can’t this girl do? On Section TV Entertainment News recently, Shin Se Kyung was filmed filming the BBQ Chicken CF alongside one of the hottest male idol groups today, Beast. Shin Se Kyung had to perform a sexy dance for the CF, and she expressed, “I’m in trouble. I’m so nervous, and I couldn’t sleep well last night.” However, once the cameras began to roll, she transformed into a confident and sexy dancer. The BEAST members who witnessed Shin Se Kyung’s dramatic transformation all exclaimed, “Wow~”. | Wonder Girls do group rope skipping for Win Win Posted: 21 May 2010 08:42 PM PDT We have seen SNSD's Taeyeon hit the drums, Rain wrestling on the streets and SNSD doing the limbo for KBS2TV's Win Win corner, Keep the Promise Project. The Wonder Girls was the next guest on this corner and what will they be tasked to do? And just to explain this Keep the Promise Project corner, it offers netizens to pledge to perform anything of bizarre nature, in exchange with the celebrity committing something out-of-normal as well. So for the Wonder Girls, they appeared in front of the COEX building on the night of May 21st to do group rope skipping in public with selected participants. It was a great chance for fans to get up close with the Wonder Girls especially when the latter have been away from Korea for such a long time. This will be shown through Win Win on May 25th.

This is because 2AM will be guest performers for Park Jin Young at his JYP Tour concert at the Roseland Ballroom on the 21st. And to keep fans in the loop, Jo Kwon has updated his Twitter with two photos as he toured the streets of New York after his arrival to take in the sights.

2AM’s Jo Kwon tweeted some pics of himself in New York City today. He and the rest of the 2AM boys are in the NYC to open for their boss JYP also known as Park Jin Young. Kwonnie looks like he’s having a good time in the Big Apple in his pics. The JYP concert in New York, which is a stop on The JYP Tour 2010, with featured guest 2AM is going on tonight at the Roseland Ballroom. The next stop will be in Los Angeles on Sunday, May 23rd at the Wiltern Theater.
On a side note, my sources reported that Jo Kwon’s ‘virtual’ wife Ga In along with the rest of the Brown Eyed Girls had a stop over in Honolulu en route to San Francisco. The BEGs were headed to San Francisco for the MYX Mash 2010 concert (at the Bill Graham Civic) also featuring T-Pain and Bruno Mars (who incidentally was born and raised in Hawaii). Tickets are still available for the concert, so if you can make it check out the MYX Mash site. Goo Hara even confessed where she want’s her first kiss to happen. The topic made a lot of interest’s to viewers and there was a lot of voluntary confessions on the topic, although before any revelations could be made, Kim Tae Woo joked and said that, In the days today, the perfect place to have their first kiss would be “at the backseat of a car” making them all arouse in laughter.
