Is BEAST’s DooJoon Close to HaRa?

BEAST’s DooJoon, on a recent episode of MBC Sunday Sunday Night – Danbi, revealed a surprising friendship he has with another idol. Or does he?

On this episode, the cast members received a special mission: to call someone close to them, and if that person answered their call, they would be given breakfast. Since it was 9AM in Korea at the time, all the contestants were nervous about the game.

DooJoon was up first, and surprised his other cast mates by saying he would call Kara’s HaRa! The other contestants displayed jealousy when DooJoon explained, “I have the usual close oppa and dongsaeng relationship with Goo Hara.”

However, things didn’t go as planned when HaRa failed to answer his call, leaving DooJoon’s pride to take a hit.

If DooJoon and HaRa are as close as he says, can we hope for a BEAST/Kara collaboration in the future?

SS501 Celebrates 5 Years

with the release of their MV “Love Ya” and their new album Destination, and meetings with fans.  They had fan signing events at the Sindorim TechnoMart, the 88 Gymnasium in Hwagok-dong, Gangseo-gu, and in Busan (where they also had a little birthday celebration for Kim Hyun Joong who will be 25 on June 6th) over the weekend.  Here’s some pics from the fan signing events, there’s a lot of pictures and fan cams (click the links above) out there so be sure to check it out.

Here’s their latest MV for their song “Love Ya.”  It’s a slicker, manlier concept for them and the song is a keeper.

My observations of the MV: what the heck did they do to Hyun Joong’s hair? (actually, I didn’t care for any of their hair styles or fashion in the MV); why does only Kim Kyu Jong get to wear some color?; what’s up with the feminine gray sweater on Hyung Joon?; I like the way the lighting looked on Jung Min’s segment – but what’s up with the cape?; and how can Young Saeng look so cute with those cheeks?  Am I the only person who doesn’t get the whole lower lip/chin wiping thing?  Fans reported that if you look closely, you can see that leader has a bandage wrapped around his waist/lower back area (due to injuries received in a car accident).

Although the Destination album was available for sale at online sites from the 24th, the physical album just became available for sale.  There are two versions available a special limited edition and the regular edition.

Destination has six tracks, four new songs and an acoustic and instrumental version of two of the songs: 01. LET ME BE THE ONE (?? ???..), 02. LOVE YA , 03. CRAZY 4 U, 04. ???? (Forever), 05. LET ME BE THE ONE (?? ???..) Acoustic, 06. LOVE YA (Inst.).  I’m a little biased when it comes to SS501 because they’re one of my faves and one of my first Kpop loves, but I think that Destination is a worthy addition to any Kpop library.

Idols Transform Into Fashion-Dols?

2PM’s Taecyeon, T-ara’s EunJung, and the Wonder Girls have been garnering interest by becoming “fashion-dols”, or idols with unique fashion. They have been showing the public new styles that are different from what fans are used to seeing.

2PM’s beastly rapper Taecyeon is one of these “fashion-dols” as he recently showed off a manly style on music programs. His black-toned outfit attracted lots of interest from the public as it displayed Taecyeon’s fit body and emphasized his beastly side.

However, in Cinderella’s Sister, Taecyeon plays a pure and innocent character who wears casual clothes like hooded cardigans. This apparel gives off a more youthful vibe, deeply contrasting the masculine appearance of Taecyeon on music shows.

T-ara’s Eunjung is another “fashion-dol”. Through T-ara’s repackaged album and their new song I Go Crazy Because of You, Eunjung defined sexy with her yellow and black stage outfit.

In her recent drama, Coffee House, Eunjung wears t-shirts with cute graphics printed on them, layered with a cardigan. Her character’s style gives off a boyish yet casual look.

Last but not least, the Wonder Girls have also been labeled as “fashion-dols”. The group recently returned to Korea with their newest single, 2 Different Tears. Unlike their Nobody outfits, the girls came back with a new funky, retro, 80s style, called “denim fashion”. Yubin and Sohee helped come up with the concept.

During their appearances on variety shows, the Wonder Girls revealed their everyday outfits. The members sported hot pants with matching leggings, demonstrating a very casual and comfortable style.

Super Junior et Bonamana: les dessous de la scène !

Avec la sortie du MV, ainsi que les photos qui ont été prises pour le quatrième album, il fallait bien qu'un mini film sorte. Enfin ce n'est qu'un documentaire montrant les dessous de la scène, dans les coulisses de ces séances photos, mais aussi de la réalisation du MV. Nous avons droit aux impressions qu'ont les Super Junior par rapport à leur nouveau concept, mais aussi des commentaires par rapport à leur album qu'est « Bonamana ». Ils nous font une petite démonstration quant à la chorégraphie, Eunhyuk commentant alors ses gestes. C'est-ce qui fait le gros de cette vidéo. Alors je vous invite à y jeter un œil, c'est en anglais, ce petit documentaire a été diffusé sur Arirang.

Are You A Lil Freak?

Well, you don’t have to be. If you live in or near Seoul you don’t have to wait for Ms. Minaj to take you to go see Usher, you can take yourself. Usher is going to be performing in Seoul for the first time ever on July 3rd. For one night only, the R&B artist will be entertaining the crowd with hits from his first album to his most recent, “Raymond v. Raymond.” The concert will be held at Olympic Park and is part ten of a series of concerts called “Super Concert” held this year.

I’m willing to bet my left foot that we’re going to be seeing some KPop stars attend this concert. Usher is one of the most followed artists in Korea when it comes to his performance and musicality. I wonder who will open for him?

Dirty Eyed Girls 2: Le Retour !

Apres leur anniversaire le 29 mai dernier, au « Seoul Melon AX hall »…les deux membres des 2AM, Jokwon et Seulong se sont posés la question de savoir s’ils devraient remettre leur Dirty eye-liner devant la caméra une nouvelle fois…Durant la fête Jo kwon a  dansé sur Lady Gaga et Beyoncé…c’est surement pour ça qu’il a eu la puce à l’oreille!

Souvenez-vous du premier clip des Dirty eyed girls qui avait d’ailleurs fait un carton! Ils avaient parodié « Abracadabra » du célèbre groupe Brown Eyed  Girl (BEG) lors de l’émission « Wild bunny » l’année dernière. Taecyeon, Chansung et Wooyoung du groupe 2PM ont également participé! Le MV a révélé des personnalités complètement « retournées » et extraverties si l’on compare avec l’image que l’on a d’eux lors de leurs performances en tant « normal ».

Seulong rajoute sur le tapis : Nous avons longuement réfléchis et allons peut être revenir avec un second MV, que l’on aura nous même fait avec nos propres dépenses..cela dit si certaines productions sont intéressées nous acceptons n’importe quelle offre! »

Ils ont vraiment l’air motivé nos JYP’s ! En tout cas les fans seront ravis de les revoir ré-endosser leur rôle !

Ce jour là, les 2AM ont fêté leurs anniversaires du mois étant donné que Seulong, Jinwoon et Changmin sont nés au mois de Mai!

An associate revealed, "Jaebum is set to return on the 11th. He has work in New York for three days but will be heading straight to Korea after wards. It's a bit later than planned."

He also went on to state, "We are discussing plans for him to meet with his fans while recording for the movie."

Casting for his little sister's role is nearing completion. Dennis Oh will also be acting in this movie.

Super Junior Releases iTouch Application!

Following their comebacks, Super Junior’s labelmates, SNSD and f(x), released iTouch applications that included various music previews, videos, and pictures. With the release of their fourth album a couple weeks ago, SM Entertainment has unleashed an application for the boys of Super Junior as well.

Like SNSD’s Run Devil Run application, Super Junior’s BONAMANA application comes in free and paid versions. The paid application costs 7.99USD, and of course, has more features than the free application.

The free application includes previews of each of the songs and concept photos for each member. It also includes a Super Junior introduction with English subtitles, and the BONAMANA music video and teaser.

Super Junior releases BONAMANA application for Apple Appstore

After SNSD and f(x), it sure didn’t take long for SM Entertainment to release an application for Super Junior.

And like their previous two applications, Neowiz Bugs is the developer once again and their application style should be familiar to you as they have only changed the graphics and content.

There are two versions of the BONAMANA application, a LITE which is free and the other one which requires you to pay 7.99 USD. You can search on the iTunes store by using the search term "BONAMANA" or simply clicking on this: LITE or PAID.

The LITE version which is 71.6mb is kind of fully featured in that it contains the teaser, MV and app intro videos, 30s audio track previews, photos and a clock. The PAID version is 208mb and I suppose it contains some exclusive content.

So now for SHINee…until they make a comeback that is!

[NEWS] 2AM Im SeulOng and IU confirmed for duet ‘We Fell In Love 2?!

IU and 2AM Seulong confirmed as the singers for upcoming new duet 'We Fell In Love 2?.

An official revealed on 1st June, "As many netizens have speculated, the singers to the new duet 'We Fell In Love 2? are IU and 2AM SeulOng. And the title like many have known is 'Nagging'." The 2 will sing the duet follow up song after Jo Kwon and GaIn from We Got Married sang 'We Fell In Love' last year.

This is another anticipated production by star composer-lyricist combo Lee MinSoo-Kim EeNa. 2AM SeulOng is recommended for the song for his sensational vocals, while this will be IU's first time singing a duet.

The song will be revealed on 3rd June.

Donghae et sa théorie de la relation « amoureuse »

Durant l’émission de Yoo JaeSeok Kim WonHee intitulé « Come to play », qui a eu lieu ce 31 Mai, Donghae nous a parlé un peu de son avis concernant les relations amoureuses..en effet lorsqu’il a quelqu’un en tête il fera pour sûre de cette personne sa petite amie!

Mais avant cela il nous a révélé  : »Une fois en tant que fan j’ai pris Sunye du groupe Wondergirls dans mes bras ». Le MC lui a donc demandé s’il ressentait quelque chose pour elle…Donghae a répondu qu’il en était fan depuis qu’il a vu son audition et l’a regarde tout le temps lors des passages télé. Il espère qu’elle restera aussi talentueuse pour la suite!

HyeLim, la nouvelle membre des Wondergirls a quant à elle désignée kyuhyun comme son membre favori !

Beast’s Yoon Doojoon’s pride takes a hit when he fails to connect a call to his close friend Goo Hara in a phone call.

On May 30th’s broadcast of the MBC Weekend Variety show ‘Sunday Sunday Night – Danbi (MC Kim Yongman, Marco, Kim Hyunchul, Ahn Youngmi, Yoon Doojoon), the cast members were given a surprise mission to call someone close to them, and depending if they were able to connect a call with the other, they would be offered breakfast.

On this day, the team was heading towards the ‘Snow Mountain Village’ in Laos, and due to tight schedules, they had to settle for eating whilst traveling inside the car. In addition, breakfast was only given to those who passed the mission.

Since it was 9AM in Korea at the time, the cast members appeared to be nervous about the ‘Connect a call with someone close to you’ Mission. In particular, because the regular nature of ‘Danbi’ filming doesn’t allow for meals, it was an intense game.

First, Yoon Doojoon attempted calling Kara’s Goo Hara. The cast members displayed jealousy when Yoon Doojoon said, “I have the usual close oppa and dongseng relationship (T/N: a close older guy + younger female relationship) with Goo Hara.” However soon after, Yoon Doojoon was humiliated when the phone call didn’t go through.

Certains membres des Super Junior jouent avec… l’eau!

Il n’y a pas que les jeunes enfants et adolescents qui s’amusent à jouer avec l’eau, comme par exemple se lancer des bombes à eau! Et cela, les Super Junior le montrent bien! Sur la vidéo ci-dessous, nous pouvons voir un très court-métrage, on surprend à voir Heechul, du moins sa main, tenir une bouteille d’eau et la renverser sur le pauvre DongHae qui était, comme vous l’aurez constaté, endormi! Bien hilarante la vidéo. Mais vous vous demanderez sûrement une chose: « Mais pourquoi avoir fait ce sale coup à DongHae? » Oh! bien sûr ne vous inquiétez pas! Ils n’ont rien contre lui, ça aurait pu arriver à Heechul, Donghae, Shindong ou Eunhyuk ! « Mais…. pourquoi lui alors? » Et bien c’est simple! DongHae était le malheureux gagnant d’un jeu dans lequel se sont prêtés les membres des Super Junior! Lequel? Que le « gagnant » de ce jeu se verrait être aspergé d’eau (et pas qu’un peu apparemment). Mais à la suite de quoi? Eh bien, les Super Junior devaient rester éveillés lors de leur trajet jusqu’ en Chine, alors celui qui dormait se retrouverait trempé ! Quelque chose qui pourrait bien faire rire les fans, mais aussi un autre moyen pour les Super Junior de s’occuper lors de leur long voyage!

Fans of Girls' Generation have posted up a newspaper advertisement to congratulate Yoona's (Real Name Im Yoona, 21) birthday and have done a charitable work.

Fans of Girls' Generation have posted up their congratulating advertisement through this one newspaper on 28th to celebrate Yoona's 21st birthday. It was an advertisement that was assumable for their passion towards Yoona.

Yoona's birthday is on May 30th. The reason why they posted up on 28th was because of the nature of newspaper media, there will be a low frequency for students or an office workers to notice the advertisement.

Prior to this, Yoona had a small birthday party with her fans on her company, SM Entertainment's building on last 17th. It is known that her members have also participated in this party.

Also, fans of Girls' Generation have donated 2,000,000 Won (approximately $2000 USD) on 'Incheon House of Opening Tommorow Sea Side Child Center' using Yoona's real name 'Im Yoona', which evoked a warmness.

Taeyang Star Diary Part VII: “I Really Want A Girlfriend This Year!”

With a shy personality, Taeyang (23, Real name: Dong Young Bae) has honestly never really dated anyone.

"I really want a meet a girlfriend this year. I feel like if I get older, I won't be able to date."

Taeyang knows a couple that he envies a lot, and that is Sean and Jung Hye Young [Sean is one half of the hip-hop due JinuSean, who are also under YG Entertainment]. He says when he sees Sean living happily he thinks, "I should live that way too."

"I think it was about 3 months ago. I went to Sean hyung's house because he said he would make dinner for me. I was eating and when I saw Hye Young nuna with HaEum, HaRang, and HaYul, I felt so many things."

What he saw was the result of a happy home. It was a happy that made you feel happy even by seeing it.

Taeyang however, is a man weak to dates. He loses his timing by debating and thinking things similar to, "What if it doesn't work out?" and "Won't it be a burden?" even if he likes someone.

"I had my first love when I was in school. But I thought I wouldn't be a help to that person so we didn't start well. Now that I think about it, we could have done well…"

He hesitated again and again because he thought he would be in the way of his first love, who was busy studying hard.

"She was studying to go to a high school that was specialising in foreign languages. She studied a lot, and I saw that she was trapped in making the decision of either meeting me or not during that important time."

Seeing her work hard, he stepped back to help her. After that, Taeyang also hadn't dated due to him having to attend hard practice and busy activities.

Taeyang has the personality where when he focuses on one thing, he falls into it completely, but he is also very cautious and serious, which turns out to be an obstacle in terms of dating.

C’est aujourd’hui que l’on apprend que le dénommé Mr Kim(acteur et chanteur) s’est retrouvé déchargé de ses activités pour utilisation de substances illicites. On note également que cette personne allait tout justement démarrer un nouveau film où elle jouerait le rôle principal. Lorsque le réalisateur a pris connaissance de la situation, on peut dire que l’ambiance a très rapidement dérivé !

Jusque là le staff et les acteurs n’avaient aucun problème particulier et le déroulement de l’emploi du temps était « normal ». On avait d’ailleurs aucune plainte concernant le comportement des vedettes principales. La nouvelle a choqué tout le monde et bien sûre Mr Kim a été mis à l’écart! Les producteurs sont donc pressés de trouver un nouvel acteur pour tenir le rôle clé !

Pour le moment ni Mr Kim et ni l’agence ne peuvent être contactés. Un « meeting » va être organisé pour assurer et contrôler les dommages causés.

Depuis peu de temps maintenant les Netizens ont des doutes quant à la personne qui se cache derrière ce pseudonyme, beaucoup pensent depuis l’incident qu’il s’agirait de Taegoon, puisque le rapport fait par la police annonce qu’il s’agit d’un homme âgé de 24 ans, de plus on a appris en Avril que Taegoon allait effectivement rejoindre le cast du film « Piano Above The sea » (piano au dessus de la mer)…

Le fait que Taegoon puisse utiliser de la marijuana et méthamphétamine…ne m’a jamais vraiment traversé l’esprit cela dit on ne peut jamais être sûre à 100% !

« être lavé de tout soupçons » ? Oui c’est tout le malheur qu’on lui souhaite…n’est-ce pas ?

La méthamphétamine est une drogue synthétique psycho-stimulante qui provoque une euphorie, une forte stimulation mentale et qui est hautement addictive ! La marijuana est une feuille et fleur desséchée du chanvre indien, utilisée comme une drogue.

Park SangHyeon: « Innocent thunder »

Park Sanghyeon, plus connu sous le nom de Chun Dung ou encore Thunder, membre des MBLAQ, a été pris en photo avec Jung SeokHee, une reporter. Cette dernière a dévoilé cette photo.

Mais qui est donc cette Jung SeokHee? Et bien, elle est fait la chronique du « Magazine esc », elle a ajouté son propre article sur « minihompi » avec comme titre: « Innocent Thunder » le 26 mai.

Sur cette photo, elle est avec Thunder, mais elle rajoute aussi: « Le mot 'Innocent' pour un jeune homme peut être maladroit, mais je ne pouvais pas trouver d'autre mot pour le décrire, »
De plus, elle lui laisse des compliments comme: « Je n'ai jamais vu d'enfants avec une telle énergie comme il en dégage! » ou encore « C'est tout naturel que je me dois de le protéger. »

La relation qu'ils peuvent entretenir est adorable, comme une mère qui protège son enfant. Mais du côté de Thunder, qu'en est-il?

Le teaser du nouveau groupe Sistar est sorti

Le tout nouveau groupe Sistar a sorti son premier teaser ! Cette chanson  »Push Push » fera parti d’un mini-album qui va sortir très prochainement. C’est un groupe très attendu ! Je ne sais pas si vous avez prêté attention à l’audition de Hyorin mais ce groupe a beaucoup de potentiel ! Néanmoins les sonorités sont très After School, le physique et le nombre est le même que le tout nouveau groupe Secret et le décors fait très 4minute vous ne trouvez pas ? Enfin ce n’est qu’une brève analyse qu’on pourrait se faire en regardant le teaser ! Attendons le MV avant de pouvoir réellement se faire une idée !

JYP Doesn’t Allow Wonder Girls to Date

The Wonder Girls have recently made their comeback with their new single, ‘2 Different Tears‘. While the song has captured many hearts, the Wonder Girls revealed that those captured hearts will have to wait, because JYP has put a ban on dating for another 2 years.

The Wonder Girls will appear on a continuation from last week’s KSB 2TV Win Win on June 1st. When the show’s topic came to dating, the girls said, “We want to, but when we first debuted, JYP told us to hold off on dating for 3 years. However, when we went debuted in the U.S., he told us to wait another 2 years.” The girls kept bugging JYP, “How much longer are we going to have to wait?”

When the girls were asked, “Is there anything you want to do when you get a boyfriend?” Ye Eun replied, “I want to get couple rings with my boyfriend, and write his name in the ‘Thanks to:’ section of our album in code.” SoHee also shared, “I would like it if my boyfriend would wait for me at the airport when I return to Korea after our activities in the U.S. and give me a hug.”

In this upcoming episode, fans will be able to see the Wonder Girls’ individual talents. Sohee will be imitating one of the show’s MCs, Choi HwaJung, while Yoobin will talk in Jaelloah-do dialect, which she uses when she’s excited.

Nichkhun on SBS Strong Heart: “Don’t Call Me Pretty!”

While 2PM have made themselves known for their ‘beastly-idol’ concept, there’s one member that can’t seem to get away from his cute image. 2PM’s Nichkhun recently made a confession regarding how he feels about his feminine looks.

“I really don’t like being called pretty.“ Nichkhun confessed, making a sour face.

Nichkhun will be guest starring on SBS’s Strong Heart on June 1st. In this episode, he revealed some hurtful events from his past due to his feminie appearance.

2PM’s resident winking machine said “Even now, when people go, ‘You’re pretty!’ to me, it sounds like an insult.”, taking the other cast members by surprise. Trying to show how ‘un-pretty’ he is, he went on making a series of bizzare and comical facial expressions.

Seems like Nichkhun would rather be seen as a ‘beastly idol’ rather than a ‘flower boy’ idol, which one do you prefer?
